In my mind I was running,I wanted to die.I regretted everything and nothing.I was hopping the roof tops,I just couldn't turn back.I had murdered the school bully,right on the school grounds.I thought if I was running,I couldn't be seen.Breathing hard,I thought about Icelynn,Chris,Terrance and Justin.I found it was no use running anymore so I went in the woods.I finally stopped near a pond.Just then I remembered the blood on my hands.I cleaned myself up,cried,and fell asleep.

The next morning I had noticed that my wildest dream awaited me in the woods.To live in nature itself.However,I didn't know my resources.So that day I spent all my allowance on survival books at a local thrift store.That's where I went for almost everything.I kept my hood on and stayed low in civilization.Everything else I needed for food awaited itself inside me.Near dark I worked on finding a big,hollow tree to burn.Before that I thought ahead.First,if I were to burn the inside of a tree,it would create smoke,and I would risk being spotted.Luckily there was a spring by in case of emergency.I would use my newly developed skill to make my nest in the tree.Second,I'd need to learn to hunt,and although I had books,they didn't have all the resources in the book.I'd need to explore and collect food to know where they were.I'd need to what was poisonous,and what had the vitamins and minerals I needed.Third,I would need a den big enough to keep the fire from burning me,and the tree,alive.I'd need tools and weapons.

Although I knew now what to get,I was not ready all this.I instead made a small tent of sicks,twigs,vine,mud and other things in the woods.I gathered wood for the fire tonight.I tested the net to make sure it was stable.Then as soon as I started for the tent, pain shot through my body and I had had a long visual of the events that had happened.It was too much for me,I had hoped I could get away from those scarring,previous events.Then suddenly the stress went away.I got up,gathered back the firewood,and started back to the tent.I walked away as if nothing happened.I wondered what Mom,Dad and my friends were doing.I worried I'd be found and sent to prison.Or worse...

As my fire whittled away,I fell into a deep,careless,motionless sleep...
