Basics

Vishuddha is 5th of the main 7 chakras. It governs such issues as self-expression and communication. Blue is its colour and blue is known to increase communication. That chakras area is throat, ears and mouth, so like its known that these areas are connected to each others. Vishuddha not controls only speaking, its center of expression like singing, painting etc. creative activity, where you can express your feelings.

Vishuddhas "lotus" have 16 petals and it is located at the base of the throat. It is associated with the faculty of higher discrimination, between choosing what is right and wrong. Speaking lies can block that chakra.

Colour: Sky blue, turquoise

Mantra: HUM, HAM

Sense: Hearing

Element: Air

Clairaudience

Clairaudience is essentially the ability to hear in paranormal manner, as opposed to paranormal seeing (clairvoyance) and feeling (clairsentience). Clairaudient person can hear speak of dead people and voices, what affect when chakras spin. Its like the "inner mental ear". At the base of Vishuddha chakra we find a jewel, when that chakra have crystallized. From that jewel we find our natural skill to hear ghosts. All humans are ghosts in physical body, we have ability to hear with each other, even they are not in physical body.

Purification

If your Vishuddha or Throat chakra is blocked, its hard to express your own opinions. You may be shy or silent person. When its open, its easy to you speak and communicate, you are good speaker and listener. You maybe like to write poems, create songs, make art. Over-active one can affect manis-depressive psychosis, if person is artistic. Or one can speak too much and be bad listener.

To focusing energy to that chakra, visualize blue sun at base of throat, while meditate. Sing, dance, paint, write story or poems, breath fresh air, listen good music, play music, talk with someone, walk outside when there is blue sky etc.

Colour of Vishuddha is blue so focusing to color blue send more energy to that chakra. Use blue clothes, watch blue etc. Thats also knew in colour-therapy.
