Victory Through Sheer Cussedness
I hear a lot of people who are angry about their families calling them BS, friends doing the
same, they lose an argument, etc...
So, I have some advice.
In short, what I want to say is: If you are 100% sure that your viewpoint is correct, than
don't worry about short-term debacles. The time will come for your vindication.
An example.
In October, the site was hyped up about the Veil collapsing. A few people said they didnt
like that, but for the most part, everyone was wanting to help with breaking it. I, on the
other hnad, simply stated, "It's not gonna happen." When asked why I said this, and how I
knew, I simply stated, "It's not gonna fal, because I said so." This got me a lot of hate,
understandably. But, you know what? I continued steadily saying the same thing, and,
when the 18th came and passed, with absolutely ass-all result, guess who got the last
laugh? Me.
Now, some people aren't like me; they don't want to be the sole contraversial person that
poops all over the parade. However, my advice to you, is to adopt a long-term goal, and
then stick to it. Sure, you will encounter hang-ups and setbacks, but that's just the way
the world works. Ultimately, if you stick to your guns, and you refuse to budge an inch,
you will win. It's as simple as that. If you have the correct viewpoint/goal, and you defend
it and strive towards it, you will succeed, because you have the most patience.
In the end, the person who remains as unchanging as the Moon is the one who will
triumph. Just remember that, as you go about life, because this policy has gotten me a
long way, and it will work for you, too.

Oh merlin, when shall you lose your ignorance =3
Nice ^_^ although, I'd like to point out, some of the staff here started a project to MAKE it fall on that date. They thought it was centered in Arizona, and probably ended up beating the crap out of somebody's poor construct. I still believe there's a chance for the veil to fall, however, not too soon.
isaid the veil wouldnt fall too but my article was moved to trash
good artical. very true and i belive. i have sticked with the same view points for the last ermmm 7 weeks and i ahve got ferther then before.
@ChaoticMind: Normally, one should keep causticity inside one's beliefs to an absolute minimum, lest one end up pilloried by scorn, and fail at one's goals, due to perniciousness from outside sources/detractors.
Yep. Good tactic. I got a lot of stick for my viewpoints. I'm still getting a lot of stick for it. But I know I'm right, and my friends do to, and in the end, they're all that matter, not some kid from halfway around the world who thinks he knows better. I'm sticking to my viewpoints, because I'd be wrong if I changed them.
P.S. If you adopt this viewpoint, you will also come to realize that you don't need (or, sometimes, want) support from others. This will grant you freedom to be yourself, regardless of what anyone thinks, says, or does.
