Two Highly Advanced Techs from Shade

I have been getting messages asking how I overcame three adult humans, and survived three .22 bullet wounds two nights ago. The reason I overcame the humans is because they relied almost entirely on psionics, and didn't know jackshit about physical combat. I happen to be the resident ninja of the southwest USA, and it helped that these clowns knew nothing of physical combat.

The Life Energy Drain

The real reason that wounds kill people is not because of bodily damage, but because, once the body is damaged suddenly, the life force begins to drain. If you know how to stop this from occuring, then it will not make you invulnerable, for their are limits to human physiology, but it will toughen you up considerably.

Here is how you can stop or slow the draining of life force that goes along with wounds.

You should be able to see your life force, pulsing just under your skin. When you are wounded, you should also be able to see it draining away. Concentrate on the breach where it is draining, and will it to stop. Now, do NOT go shoot yourself, and try to heal it. That is STUPID. However, if you get in a car wreck, and are still conscious, remember what I have told you. The first time you try this, you will most likely fail miserably. It takes practice, so understandably, not many are seriously injured enough to become proficient at this. I, on the other hand, and some others here, lead dangerous lives and are injured frequently, i.e. every six months or so.

 

Next tech. This is the much coveted Dark Fire Shield. I named it this, because it has no official name.

 

Before you start this, you should know that it requires extensive reserves of negative ("dark") energy.

Now, close your eyes, and think of the stuff that well and truly pisses you off. I'm serious. You will feel anger start to rise, your adrenaline rush, your heart pound. Collapse all of this energy into your heart, then slowly feed it,not holding anything back. Spread it through your veins, then everything else, until your entire body, right down to your chakras, is full of pure negative energy. Then, lift your hands to where they are even with your head, and spread them out, on opposite sides of your body. Now, stoke the dark fire even more, until you cannot hold it in. Then channel it out of your hands, and imagine it permeating the air around you. Once there is a two-three foot block of pure dark energy, then, imagine it turning to black fire. Once that is achieved, let it flow through your body, and envision it consuming it, replacing it with an apparition of you, made of darkness. Now, once this is done, you may draw it all back into you, and will have converted yourself from dark in to light. Or, you can use this field in combat, to protect you, and enhance your powers.

To reverse the process, if you convert yourself in to a negative being, then simply repeat this process, only with light energy.

These techs, I use frequently, because, even to a non-psion, a negative apparition sets off alarm bells in the subconscious, scaring hell out of your opponents.
