This is basic grounding technique, what have usually suggest to use before moving on. Sometimes you maybe feel that you "fly" in our imagination, or other words, you get day dream. If you very usually get feeling that u r not connected to this place and Earth and you think its hard to find yourself only HERE and NOW, its very useful to ground yourself to mother Earth. When you get day dream, and its hard to stay focused here and now, your energy system and Earths energy are fused less. You need then to make better connection with Earth, and remember that Earth is your friend, and always below you. Grouning is done by fusing ki-energy with Earths ki-energy and you can do it through many ways, but now i tell 1 way that how to do it:
1st step: Stand at center of room and close your eyes.
2nd step: Place your feet shoulders apart and slightly bend your knees.
3rd step: Visualize that your body is tree and your legs are your roots. See your roots move to deep in mother Earth and to core of Earth.
4th step: When you feel that you are connected to molten core of Earth, take deep breath and rise pink/golden energy from core of Earth to your whole body. Remeber to visualize that you are tree.
5th step: After while, see that treetop comes from your head and branchs and leafs bend to earthsurface and they make again connection to Earth.
6th step: When inhale, move energy through roots to your body and while exhale, rise energy through treetop and see that energy comes again to Earth.
7th step: Stay in tree so long as you feel good. I personally do about 20 breaths in total. This technique is good grouning and make good for 1st, 2nd and 3rd chakras, and of course, for your personal connection with Earth and her healing energy.
NOTE: Make sure that your spine is stright while do this, cause then energy can move through it!
