Tourney Sign-Up and Rules

Okely-doke.

With all this talk of a tournament, I decided to organize it. One summer, I had been on Naruto-arena (I was younger. o.o), and I learned how to organize these things.

Well, here are the rules:

The tournament will consist of 8/16/32 psions, and 4/8/16 rounds. Each match will have two participants, and the winner shall advance, the other being disqualified. When there are 8 fighters left, the round is called the quarterfinal. For 4, semifinal. For 2, final. Placings will work like in any other tourney. The tournament will begin on Saturday, January 28th, 2012. You and your opponent will be responsible of organizing your fight within five  days of the beginning of a round (Please, do this before then.). If you fail to do this, one of you two will be chosen at random using a name picker, and the chosen name will advance to the next round.

All fights will take place at the Cindor Arena in Verse, or at the Vivathen (Google 'vivathen psionic astral entities locations') in the astral realm. You have the choice of either arena. A fight is considered over when:

• One person surrenders
• One person's back hits the floor.
• Knockout for 10 seconds
• Violating 'You may not'

You may not:

• Bind the opponent
• Kill the opponent
• Tamper with the opponent's soul or chakra system
• Insult the opponent or their race
• Cast any types of illusions on the opponent.
• Use a weapon to inflict harm, or even bring a weapon (e.g. swords, spears, tridents). Simple, lower-class projectiles such as kunai and minie balls are allowed, however.
• Severely injure the opponent
• Take the opponent into  another realm or area.

Failure to follow any of these rules with result in instant disqualification. In a judging, the referee (Fgopl, Pieman, or WingMaker) gets final say. Period.

When all people sign up, brackets will be posted.

The winner will win a special prize.

Here are the spaces. Sign-Up ends on 1/26 at midnight, EST time, or whenever 32 contestants have joined. There can only be 8, 16, or 32 members, so you may be cut off if the number doesn't match any of those.
