The science behind abilities.
Hello everyone, recently I have been seeing an uprising of people requesting tutors or learning how to do this kinetic or that, and I have also noticed people seem to forget the base factors to our abilities. Science.
Abilities are not some paranormal extraordinary thing that noone but special people can use, no, It is simple science. People are able to manipulate the energy around them because of the manipulation of brain waves. Everyone has the potential to use abilities, (I am not getting into souls right now), its just whether they try to or not.
Abilities do not work magically, they work within science. You cannot make a fire in a vaccum (no fuel nor oxygen available to complete the fire triangle) and you can not make things explode without understanding molecular reaction. Abilities work within science, and therefore, to use them to the best of your abilities you have to use it within the binds of science. So next time you try making winds rise, think, "Is there a scientific way that I could make possible by use of energy?" and when you try to control fire, try to control the things that make the fire, not the fire itself.
I could go on and on, but you should get the drill.

bbdeathspark did you even read what i wrote? if you did your come back dont have much meaning, paranormal is events or things that cant be exsplained by normal means also with out oxygen you can not make fire if you think it to be true light a candle then put a clear glass over it, Kazam flame out, but in the realm of the paranormal fire will continue to burn with out oxygen, point being said i dont need to mislead anyone people are pretty good at doing that on their own, now on the flip side magick is a science its just not the science we were raised to believe, when you say YOU CANNOT MAKE A FIRE IN A VACCUM with out fuel or oxygen it seem like your telling everybody magick dont work the way it should, you are telling them to base it on science and then it will work, to me it sounds like you are misleading people BIG TIME, you also stated ABILITIES DO NOT WORK MAGICALLY thats false, way before the word kinesis mind power and so many others it was know as MAGICK or its other name the OCCULT meaning secret knowlege of the unknown due to the internet such understanding became displaced and re writting to fit the easy way out, now due to so much bull crap everybody think they will have super powers over night, its not going to happen, so back to my point MAGICK IS A SCIENCE ITS JUST NOT IN THE SCIENCE WE WERE RAISED TO BELIEVE, if you base you knowlege and teachings on human science you will not get far at all.

Nightking that's absolutely unethical. Abilities and science don't match because people don't want them to, no other reason. Also, your example is screwed. Fire is the mixture of oxygen, fuel and one more thing I forgot, so once fire exists that means there's oxygen. By definition, if there is no oxygen, there's no fire. If there's fire, there was oxygen. Simple. Stop misleading those into believing abilities are "paranormal".

Hey bbdeathsparks, im sorry but im going to have to disagree with this concept all abilities arrive from the unknown or should i say the paranormal acts thats why science and magick dont mix they both have a whole diffrent outlook on these mixing view points, magick or kinesis seek to exsplore that which is not seen nor heard, if the above article was true doing the impossible would not be so hard to preceive, most people use a crutch such as in a candle flame to manipulate the fire but all their doing is depending on their energy and force to do the work this is begining stuff a true person of talent can make a fire appear in a room with out oxygen, thats not science thats skill all by it self, if we begin to tell new commers to base kinesis or magick on science we are miss leading them from the get go, abilities begin by searching for that which is not seen we are using our 6th sence not our five sences we use daily or what science say, the goal of up coming kinesis masters is to direct your mind to focus, change your old mold of thinking, gather energy & effect reality through none physicial means, other then that you will just be wasting your time and energy in return most will give up with in there first year of crossing this site

The word science comes from the Latin "scientia," meaning knowledge. Psionics, is based on science, it does not mean that we know the science behind it yet. However, theories can be made in function of our current understanding of the universe.

Bibek, most of it is physics, and sometimes advanced physics. With weather, there is meteorology. When dealing with the mind, think of psychology. When dealing with healing and abilities meant to rupture body systems and such, think of anatomy, physiology, and biology.

May I also say, with this in mind, you can manipulate physical things with energy. Even to the point where you can knock people out by forcing their brain to secrete melatonin, and what not.
