The Infinity Mechanism Chapter 1

Note: This my first writings so please bear with me, this story 

                                                                 Chapter 1

"Attention passengers, the flight to Housten, Texas will be delayed 2 and a half hours. We are sorry for any inconvience this may cause." The voice over the intercom was boring and monotonous, but loud enough to be heard over the din of the crowded airport. Just what I need, I thought, more time to sit in a crowded airport where I'm a sitting duck for those paramilitary guys. It was then a gun sounded from downstairs. Crap, they already found me. At that point all I could do is run and hope they didn't find me. The goons had been chasing me for months at this point all for one little artifact that my grandfather had discovered and passed to me in his will.

But enough of that, I suppose it won't make sense if I started you out there now would it.  This all started at my grandfather's funeral in March, all of our family and his co-workers showed up to his funeral. One of them our family knew particularly was Mr.Selkavitz, a Russian man of about 52, with a muscular, yet portly frame. He gave to me one of my grandfather's most prized finds, a talisman found in an ancient burial site off of the coast of Argentina. "Your grandfather wanted yo to have this." he said handing me the necklace. The talisman itself was a peculiar thing, it was stone with bfour black arcs in the top, bottom, left, and right, with three thick lines coming from the edges and center of each. 'Thank you." I said hapily but with a hint of remorse. It was then the door was kicked open and my world was forever turned upside down.
