I jumped, crawled, and shifted my way through thick rubble and debris. The smoke and dust was burning my throat and made it hard to breathe. My throat felt kinda gritty and had me thinking if there were actually big enough specs of dirt and dust, that settled in my throat. My mouth was the same. Bits an pieces of micro chipped sand particles in my gums and occasionally, on my teeth. Whenever I bit down, the *chic* and *crickle* sound of fine sand would grind between my teeth into dust and then later, would be stuck in my saliva and as I swallowed, I could feel it all slide down my throat. The feeling was annoying and it irritated my throat. Warm air and hot smoke slowly building up in my lungs made them feel like two separate deserts. 

The only thing I could imagine being equivalent in the feelings, aggravation, discomfort and experience as it was, was a coal mine. Eventually I made my way through the dense grey and brown smoke. Light was clearer and actually hurt my eyes. Painful rays pounded my eye balls, and made me squint. I put my hand in front of me to black the sun. I heard men calling out and shouting in confusion. Some asking questions and some discussing amongst others. Everything was hard to see because my eyes were still getting used to the sunlight. I heard a voice call out, "Alex! Is that you?!" I looked around. I couldn't tell who it was. "Alex! Haha, it is!!" said the unknown voice. I could hear the person hustling up to me. The footsteps were familiar. The kinda "dragged" themselves with each step. "Jamie?" I asked. "Yea man! What the fuck happened in there??" I stopped "I don't know man. I-I..." Jamie interrupted me abruptly, "man, it was just like all of a sudden part of the prison just blew up! I didn't see any flames though. What do you think it was??" 

Suddenly, a huge flash of red filled my view. I flinched and looked back. Jamie's head was missing and where his head used to be, I saw only meat, blood, and the remaining part of his spine. "Jamie?!" I asked. I watched as his body fell to the ground. First he fell onto his knees. Then his body fell forward onto my body. I freaked out and pushed his body back. Blood squirted out from the hole. His body pumped blood all out onto the dirt and here's earth. His blood thickened with the dust as it formed and became pasty on the outer edge of the puddle. The shock an horror of my friend being killed made me shriek and I ran back towards the prison. I heard a shot and the world slowed. I knew the bullet was going to hit me. I knew it. But the idea of, what if I can dodge it again, hit me. I pushed my body forward with all my strength and before I knew it, everything was normal again and the bullet flew past me, faster than a jet, speeding beyond my own comprehension. I stopped and looked to see where the bullet came from although I knew already who it was... Jonas. 

I realized something in that moment though. It all hit me. Like a memorie I've forgotten completely had hit me like a semi. I'm not a normal human being. I'm different. If I was normal, how did I dodge probably the worlds most powerful sniper rifle? Because I was different. I can do things. I normal human could. I looked at Jonas and he looked at me. He reloaded his gun and looked through his scope at me. I hesitated to run but then I stopped myself from doing so. I waited for a moment and then gave jonas a cocky smirk.I knew he could see me. I wanted him to. Because now, I had the chance to do something nobody else in the world could... Take on an expert sniper........
