The difference between umbrakinesis and lunarkinesis

Well, I've been seeing a lot of questions regarding umbrakinesis, most of which are concerning safety. First off, NO KINETIC ABILITY IS SAFE! Each and every one has its own set of risks and rewards that should be recognized before practicing. Now secondly, umbrakinesis is the ability to deactivate photons (little "packets" of light) and cause PHYSICAL darkness, the one you were afraid of as a kid. Lunarkinesis, on the other hand, deals with the manipulation of NEGATIVE ENERGY. Because of it's very nature, lunarkinesis is far more dangerous in use and effective in neutralizing an opponent than umbrakinesis is. Umbrakinesis can still kill, but it takes far more time and effort to do so. I hope this cleared any questions about umbrakinesis and lunarkinesis. P.s. Negative energy is pretty bad for your energy system

Manipulating negitive energy would be called "Energy Work" also known as "Energy Manipulation". Umbrakinesis would indeed be dimming light, manipulate shadows, etc. Lunarkinesis would be controlling the Moon, like the waves it sends out and stuff.

For me umbrakinesis is as it says:umbra=shadow.And shadows doesn't deal with negative energy.
I don't use lunarkinesis but as far as i know this is said to deal with negative energy(ironic since 'cause of the name you would though that it has to do with the moon).

Well just to be a backup for neophyte it is umbrak that's darkness because I'm learning that and the first technique is dimming effect. Plus me and my preacher have gone through how they are different

With lunarK, negative energy SEVERELY strains your system. There are different risks for different kinetic abilities. Burn yourself with pyroK, shock yourself with electroK, knock yourself off of something with aeroK, etc. etc.
