The Debate
Hello all, Shade here.
Around a week or so ago I said I would publish an argument/civilized debate that I had with several
adult scientists at a convention thingy I attended.
We talked about several things, but the important part is the one about psionics.
I have called the professors 1,2,and 3.
1:Good morning there, I understand you're the one who thinks he can move things with his mind.
2: (chuckles slightly)
Me: Yes. And there is a perfectly logical explanation, as well.
1: You are telling me that there is a logical explanation for mind power?
3: I'd like to hear that one.
Me: First of all, let me say that nothing is proven with absolute certainty. Not even Newtonian gravity
has been 100% proven.
1: Of course.
Me: I have two theories on the subject.
3: Well which one do you believe, little one?
Me: (I give the third scientist a sharp look, as do the other two scientists. His grin vanishes).
2: Let's get on with it then.
Me: In precisely 14 minutes, it is going to rain.
3: (checks his watch)
1: All right, in 14 minutes we shall see if you are correct. Now, your theories?
Me: It is a well known fact that there are many people possess heretofore unknown genes. Could it be
that mind power is simply a side effect of genes?
2: I suppose, but that still gives no explanation for...what the hell are you doing?
Me: (telekinetically knocks over an empty coffee cup)
3: Thats not even funny.
1: How interesting. Do explain.
Me: Maxwell's equations proved electromagnetism, specifically the field around Earth.
2: Well, not the field around Earth per se, but I see what you are saying.
Has it been proven that the Earth's core rotation actually causes the EM field?
1: Uh...no, but what else could?
Me: The EM field, interacting with certain humans possessing the correct genes, would allow humans
to use pure thought to manipulate their surroundings.
3: I'm listening...
1: But what causes the field then, if not core rotation?
Me: The spirit world, of course!
2: I see what you are saying, that would offer some explanation to the unusual amount of paranormal
phenomenon.
1: So what you are saying is, basically, that some human possess genes that enable them to interact
with and manipulate the surrounding world, using pure thought?
Me: Precisely.
3: (taps watch)
2: Youre fourteen minutes are up.
Me: Look outside your window.
(They all turn around to see the rain pouring outside)
1: That is indeed compelling. Twenty minutes ago I would have said that it was a mere coincedence,
but now...
2: I agree.
3: All this coming from a kid? What degree are you going for?
Me: Im not really sure.
3: How about a doctorate in being contraversial and shattering modern science?
(We all laugh)
Me: Would you like to hear what I have to say about Einsteinian physics?
1: I would indeed...
The conversation dragged on for quite a while, and I think the scientists had some fresh perspectives
as a result.
And now you guys have a possible explanation for why psionics actually works.
OK, Im out now.

As amazed and excited I was to hear this debate...I agree with merlin...do you have any evidence to prove this is real?
Wow Shade.. we aren't most people. The members of this site accept it for reality, but when you can't get a psychic to believe something, that's bad news. Anything is possible, and we know it, but this is just too improbable. Choosing to hide these people from our verification only means that you're afraid we'll deem them unfit to rely upon, or even fake.
This article is a fake privacy can kiss my butt shade wtf and what's with the willed soul thing a willed soul is what merlin said it is like he says they have a head start but anyother person can learn to >:O
Merlin, I will say this once, and once only:
Privacy is ultimate.
I learned that lesson two weeks ago.
And, Merlin, to most people, this SITE is unrealistic, so don't go playing that card.

Shade, this conversation is soo unrealistic. Simply saying "The spirit world, of course!" would not make a scientist understand. Saying that to ANYONE who isn't a psychic would make you seem like a total and complete lunatic. I'm surprised you're not in a mental ward somewhere from the looks of this conversation. Now, I'm interested. What were their names?
Shade, I'm not a "willed soul" and yet I have grown and nurtured my own natural psychic talents. Willed souls are just people who are born with active abilities. That doesn't make them any more powerful, or any more talented. They simply have a head start.
Azure, I have yet to see how anything I post casts doubt on my identity.

@Yang: A willed soul is simply a human with psionic potential.
Name one of those scientist and don't come with the protecting their identity thing. Every single thing you have posted just adds to the doubt on you being psionic at all because you surely don't have the mentality and i doubt you have ever helped anyone accomplish anything other than being entertained..
shade then how can i do psionics but then again i never actually checked wat i was but my friend isnt a will soul or anything and he could do psionics
Merlin, you know as well as I thats not true...only willed souls have psionic potential.
In case you've not heard of the Kirlian effect, auras can be observed as electromagnetic fields.
This is very vague.. and an unrealistic conversation. Rare genes do not determine your ability, everyone has psychic abilities, and psychic abilities do NOT cause the electromagnetic field around earth. The combination of magnetic elements in the earth's crust and the extreme mass of earth (meaning tons of energy) creates both a gravity field and an aura, just as we have.
Hehe I have atmokinesis and its getting close to that good. And I find this very interesting, as I plan on minoring in Physics.
