Lightning is an element. Its a naturally ocurring thing, therefore it's classified as an element, so says Gaia. Lightning = natural "plasma"
Electricity = Harnessed and controlled lightning.
The OFFICIAL elements (Going off the truth, not by any cultures) are Fire, WIND (not air. Air doesn't move), Water (Or any naturally occuring liquid goes under this), Earth (includes plants), Lightning, Light and Dark.
These elements make up the world around us.

The five elements are-Earth,Water,Fire,Air & Sky.This is the Indian style.There is another style,the chinese style-Water,Metal,Fire,Wood & Earth.

Lightning is not electricity. Lightning is plasma. Common misconception. Electricity is involved, but the main portion of what you see during a lightning strike, as well as the heat wave, is actually plasma.

This was the response to my previous article .Therefore I decided to make another article about it.
Scientifically there are many elements.But according to metaphysics there are only 5 elements.Before that let me give some basic knowledge.
GOD
What is God?Popular cultures represent God in many ways-An angry master,Loving father,etc...
But what is it ?According to maharishi Patanjali,God is the supreme being ,A state of existence which worldly intents are not presents.There is nothing required to satisfy it.It is neither male nor female.It is a combination of both(Yin & Yang).Now you dont have to really get in to these things.This article is not about that.
Five Elements

Light and Dark are not elements.They are just two opposites(Yin & Yang)
Buddhism
In Buddhism there are no 5th element.Just 4 elements-Fire,Water,Earth & Air(Wind)
Air-Wind is just moving air.So air should be the correct usage.If BBd is right then water shouldnt be an element.Water doesnt move without force just like air.
Internal air elements includes air associated with the pulmonary system (for example, for breathing), the intestinal system ("winds in the belly and ... bowels"), etc.
Fire-Internal fire elements include those bodily mechanisms that produce physical warmth, ageing, digestion, etc.

For me, I believe in the Chinese beliefs for the elements and the reason for this is: Even according to the "Chinese Astrology" charts ,,they appear to be the most accurate and most importantly the oldest! I never try to force or change anyones beliefs as it is personal to the individual. Also, I would like to comment here that any and all my posts/ comments are merely my opinion/experiences.
I always say TWO Things!! == "Believe What You Will" & this is "The MrMastermcz7 Perspective" so with that said I am new here and always looking to learn also so please dont shoot the messenger. Thx for your considerations.

There are tons of different views on the elements, each from different cultures and paradigms. From the Japanese, there are five: water, fire, earth, wind, and void. From the chinese and the greek, there are the four basic elements: water, fire, earth, and air. Some believe in the four basic elements with the addition of mind, soul, and akasha. It all depends on you, so don't try forcing what you believe on others when it comes to elements.
