Some thoughts on several subjects

To our new admin,

Speaking as someone who has been here since Day 1. (Yes, MeiSofi, Ive been here, but I didnt comment much.) This site, has always been a site full of heated discussion. If you think its bad now, let me introduce you to the user Twilar Sylatheus, who you never had the pleasure of knowing. Easily the most prolific user here, he has now left due to some reasons that are his own. Articles he made were ruthlessly trolled, and he defended himself, often using profanity, yet none of the admin at that time banned him.

Let me introduce you to Notagh, another fun friend here. Gone for years now, he was also trolled, and defended himself, often in nasty ways.

Let me introduce you to Prof. Xavier, who many of the older users here learned from quite a bit. He occasionally used foul language, and mocked people, yet was never banned.

Let me introduce you to Tautwux, arguably one of the most potent psionic humans ever to live. He was exceptionally foul-mouthed, and often fought with Twilar over the Web, yet everyone knew he was knowledgeable, and never banned was he. (NOT the current Tautwux, there was another.)

And finally, let me introduce you to this site's creator, 1337. This is a question brought up by many. No, Twilar did not make this site, 1337 did. Accessing his user history and articles that were the first ever MyTK articles is only possible if you are in possession of the ORIGINAL MyTK URL codes, which naturally I am. Many of his articles were trolled and defended with profanity, therefore giving us a firm grounding. LOL.

My point in all this, is that if you start banning users who argue/make what you say is trouble, and hope that it fixes it, your dead wrong, it won't fix a thing, because nothing is wrong here. The site has actually toned down a bit, which is why I finally started posting after four years of reading and watching. If the admin start banning argumentative users, then that's fine with me, I'll leave.
Oh wait, it's not fine. This site is unique on the Net. Its the only one that I can talk of who I am, and not be completely laughed out of town. In many ways, this site is the true home of literally thousands of people, and I really don't want to see the place that I have lived on for four years go down the tubes because a new admin starts power-tripping. Not that you will, Im just making the point that I waited for years for this site to be established, so I could reveal myself, and only God knows how long it will be until another site like MyTK pops up. The answer to that my friends, is a sad but truthful "never".
Never again will a site like this crop up, friends. It's the only shot we've got at it, so let's keep this site going strong!
