Scouter - Over 9000

Okely-doke.

I already announced that I would be posting such techs, so keep your bitching to yourself. Where do you haters get your techs? Jersey shore? o.e

 

Scouters (スカウター, Sukautā) are devices that measure power levels in Dragon Ball Z.

In the series, a scouter's primary purpose is to calculate the individual power level or ki concentration of biological characters by converting the readings into numbers. It is never explained what units of measure are used to read ki levels;

Scouters also serve the purpose of gathering information, and for interstellar communication, as seen when Raditz sent Piccolo's description of the Dragon Balls to Nappa and Vegeta, as well as Frieza learning of the existence of the Namekian Dragonballs from eavesdropping on Vegeta's conversation with Nappa. Vegeta also used his scouter to keep track of the time after he said he and Nappa would give the Z Fighters three hours for Goku to arrive. Scouters can also tell the location of someone, as demonstrated when members of the World Trade Organization use scouters to hunt down enemies.

So I'm posting these so less-trained sensors can get a good feel of someone.

 

1. Make a construct looking like the scouter. The lens can be in any shape you wish.
2. Program it so it will send a beam of energy into the dan tien of the target.
3. It will receive a thud. Tell it to obtain the strength of the thud and feed it into the part of the scouter by the ear.
4. Tell it to judge the power like this (These are ranges of numbers, and the scouter will display ranges as well):

• 1-100 Close to no thud, or someone tapping your shoulder.
• 101-500 The same pressure as someone poking you in the gut.
• 501-1000 Like a birthday punch.
• 1001-2500 A mild slap across the face.
• 2501-4000 A punch in the gut.
• 4001-7000 A morbidly obese person cannonballing onto your balls (or feet, whichever one you want).
• 7001-8000 Your appendix exploding. Yes, really bad appendicitis.
• 8000-9000 Literally, getting shot in the genitalia.
• 9000+ An amputation with no anesthesia, or any thud harder than 8000-9000

     5. Tell it to display the results on the lens as soon as it finishes judging.

     6. Use sensing or your third eye to read the indicated range.

 

 

Side Note:

Although we can closely replicate what we see on anime, please note that anime is not real. Life is not an anime or manga, so don't stick your knowledge of such techs into everyone's face.

Additionally, please take care to learn and create techs that are not from anime or manga. Psionics is not some game, you don't get a 1up like Naruto.

Please note that I didn't create this for myself, or because I randomly felt like it. People have been asking since forever. I already know how to do readings, I don't need a construct for it.

So any trolling should be aimed at those who requested this tech.
