Quran & Theory of The Universe

Introduction

 

Universe has its own beginning.

In chapter of Quran, Al-Anbiyak, verse 30, Allah said; "That is which, the Infidels did not know that, both Earth and The Sky were once a "ratqa", which then we separated(fataq) between them. And from water, we create everything alive."

 

 

This verse has clearly explained sbout these two important matters. First, it's about the origin event of The Earth and The Sky, which in the beginning, they are joined together before both of them are separated. Secondly, this verse explained(before they are separated) that, about the fact of water(lives), which is the basic for all life. Without it the lives could not exist at all.

 

There's two words in this verse that we need to place an eye focus on, which are, "ratqa" and "fataq".

 

"Ratqa" is from the Arabic word, which means, "patch up" and "sew up". It's the symbolic for "ggathered", "sticked" and "to become smaller".

 

"Fataq" is also from the Arabic word which defined as "unsew", "rip open" and "tear open". It's the symbolic for something that is "opened", "discovered" and "expanding".

 

 

 

 

Based on this verse, Imam Said bin Jubair said, "Earth and Sky are once sticked together. When The Sky is elevated and therefore, The Earth is external which happened after the separation and that is what Allah meant in this verse."

 

^This Arabic translaton is stated by Imam Sain bin Jubair around 1000 years ago, which was very impressived. In this translation, Syeikh Said Hawa has said in Al-Asas fi al-Tafsir(name of a book),

" Translation that had been made, as/like by  Imam Sain bin Jubair, told something that had not been known except for this lately(modern technology)." This is because this statement is absolutely equal to the science discoveries by these days which, linked to the event of the universe.

 

 

 

 

Bing Bang Theory

 

Theory that had been followed by most scientist linking to the start of this universe is called as The Big Bang Theory. The report, which is in the NASA's website in the segment of Big Bang Cosmology in http://map.gsfc.nasa.gov , the universe started around 12 till 14 billion(s) years ago. The universe at that moment was measured and only around a few milimeters. Since after thats date, it has been expanding till it became as what we see today.

 

Based on Big Bang, this universe is actually joined together, then a powerful explosion occured(around 12 till 14 billion(s) years ago). After that, the expanding of the universe and the freezing till it borns the stars, planets, galaxies and etc.

 

This theory is actually voiced based on the formulae of "General Theory of Relativity" by Albert Einsteir in year 1915. After that, in year 1922, there's a physicist from Russia, Alexander Friedmann, expanding this theory and by that, it has firmly fixed this Big Bang Theory.

 

On year 1929, an another appearance in Astronomy from America, Edwin Hubble, found more solid proves that support The Big Bang Theory. By ysing the advanced technologies, he realised that this universe is always expanding. This discovery has supported the opinion which, saying, this universe was once joined together in the beginning then the pwerful explosion separated them, because thats explosion is the reason for this expansion. This issue had been discussed in Emcarta Encyclopedia(CD) in this segment of Bing Bang Theory(Introduction).

 

The existence of helium gas and the ray of radiation in a balanced way throughout the outer space, supported more of this theory. The researches about it had been conducted by the Astrophysics expert from America, Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson, in year 1965, and this discovery had been approved by the other experts of Science by using a special device from NASA called COBE spacecraft (1989-1993).

 

Today, by the helps of the other much more advanced tools, like CERN LABORATORY which is located nearby Geneva City, Switzerland.... Many researches can be done. The researches from this lab has supported the theory(Big Bang).

 

This is reported by "Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council(1999)" in http://hepwww.rl.ac.uk/pub/bigbang (requires you to log in). Now, the theory has became one theory that cannot be deny and the experts have took it as a principe in Standard Cosmology.

 

 

 

 

Proof God Exist

 

Thus, Quran's stament about the origin event of Earth and They Sky is absolutely SCIENTIFIC. One of the expert that felt very amazed is Dr. Alfred Kroner. He's one of the professor(s) in the GeoScience and was once a dean in the Geology Department at the Institute of Geoscience, Johannas Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany. Based on that verse, he said that knowing Prophet Muhammad to become very acknowledgeable about The Earth and The Sky were from the same "element". This is because, the knowledge about the universe progression had just been known by using the modern and advanced tools. Someone as Prophet Muhammad,  that has no knowledge at all about the Nuclear(Physics) arund 1400 years ago, is very impossible for him to be so capabled about it.

 

Finally, Dr. Alfred Kroner said, when we collect all together the statements of Quran about The Earth and its progressions, then we link it to our Science, it can be proved that Quran is true. This can be proved through a scientific ways.

 

In the past, many statements were unable to be proved, but today, the modern of science can prove its truth. This is reported in "A Brief Guide to Understanding Publications", Second Edition, May 1990.
