I ask you to read this article with a clear mind, and to stop believing blindly in what you were taught, and not to agree with anyone, in this article, you'll actually have to think for yourself.
Question: The Creator.
Names do not matter, you might call the creator 'God', 'Spirit', 'the One', or even 'John', as long as they mean the same thing to you. For the purpose of not confusing everyone, I will simply reffer the creator as 'Creator' [simple, huh?].
Whatever you call the creator, that entity must fullfil some basic roles I deduced these from simple reasoning, and logic; these are:
- Creator is infinite. [no beginning, no end- the Creator was always there, and will always be.]
- Creator is unique. [Creator is nothing like Creator's creations.]
- Creator is everywhere, and in everyone.
- Creator cannot be created.
- Creator is just, and good to everyone. Therefore, to be good from everyone's perspective, Creator is neutral.
Now for the question. To YOU, what is the creator? Remember, there is no right or wrong answer. AS long as you actually make sense.
To answer the question, you can give any name for the creator, but you have to give an explaination on what Creator is. AND in your description, Creator MUST fulfill all of the goals I've set.
My theory
Creator is Void, aka 'vacuum'(scientific term), aka 'nothingness'(simplified term).
Think about it. It is the only thing I figured out that actually made sense.
At the beginning there must have been nothing. And from this nothingness, things were created. Nothingness cannot be destroyed, because you cannot destroy what isn't there. The first goal is therefore fulfilled.
All of the creations are made of matter, which is the presence of things. That means that nothing can be Creator, except Creator. The second goal is fulfilled.
Atoms are the base of everything [except Creator], and +95% of any atom is vacuum, the nucleus, which is at the center, composes only a fraction of the actual atom. That means that even the densest material is part of Creator. Humans, [and every other organism] are made of atoms, therefore of Creator. The third goal is fulfilled.
Vacuum cannot be created. It is only possible to move the particles form an area to the next. If you follow the rule that E=MC2 [energy equals mass times the speed of light in a vacuum squared.] You cannot destroy matter, therefore, you cannot create 'nothingness'. Creator cannot be created, and the fourth goal is fulfilled.
One cannot hate or love the absence of matter. For the simple reason that there is nothing to hate or love. The last goal is fulfilled.

Is nothingness concious? Does it have power over everything? Should it be worshipped? Answering one question sometimes creates the paradox of making more questions to be asked.

but noting is something... think about it haha, nothing is something, its noting but the nonexistence of existence, is the existence of nonexistence. so if you have nothing its not true because you have the item nothing. oh and the third thing is now broken and your theory now proven wrong. Yeah, energy would be the alternative to void. :3 They both fulfill of the criterias.

universe/energy itself is conscious(ness), thats what i believe
How about out of time, there always existed two atoms (I prefer atoms to God :)). And one day, they collided. Boom. Universe. No God required.
*Reffering to what i said* By definiton, a void or vacume is the absence of matter. actually thinking about it. We can't create those things, but we can move them.,Cause really, a void is cause by the fact that the amount of matter in this unirverse is great'y outweighed by,the amount of space. Although, the only thing that will originate from nothing, is nothing. That part i can not comprehende. I don't think anyone can. If your theory is correct. of how matter can be produced from NOTHING. Still, I like the idea. :)

For some reason i do not belive you i think the creator is a being who was here before time making him first out of all(basically he has no beginning)he created me you and matter to keep us busy becz he wanted to have his creation to feel what he feels...happy he experience it when creating this never ending universe,and when it all crash's down becz he created time and space,he will be here when it all just vanish(making him having no ending)he is my father,the holy spirit my mother,micheal(jesus)my brother and the rest my lover's. Interesting theory, dude. I'm not really keen on the Void part, I would probably agree.
And to me, the Creator is everything in this universe, so the Creator IS the universe, so everything makes up the Creator.
But great theory, dude. Very thoughtful.
I believe that Gods do exist in the Astral, but they aren't really gods, just spiritual entites, and the universe is the result of random chance
I believe that many things created portions of reality, though I do not know what created them :)

I believe Time is Creator. Time has always been here. What is like time? Time is in everyone (you think about time so it is in your head) and everything. How do you create time? Time never takes sides. All these reasons apply to the universe as well.

I am not atheist, I do believe in something. But it is kinda long to explain it on comments.

Pieman, you are mixing up Creator and Yahweh, which is a diety, not the creator.

Agash, the vacuum you speak of is an absence of air. The vacuum he speaks of is the absence of everything. Humans can't create "nothing" as there is no place in this world where "nothing" is, as it will be filled by something.

Humans can create nothingness,or a vacum. We do regularly. doubled glazed windows. the space inbetween them is a vacume. Sorry bro. xD
