Pyrokinesis is the ability to move, influence and extinguish fire. Following is a video that demonstrates this ability:Now onto the pyrokinesis techniques:
Pyrokinesis ranges from being able to move a candle's fire at will to being able to set something on fire. Creating fire out of nowhere is impossible, but with sheer determination you might be able to make something burn. This is accomplished by mentally heating an object which even though extremely rare is possible. I haven't personally done it, but I've seen it a couple of times.
Training:
A) Read This article to understand the basics of telekinesis. In order to perform pyrokinesis - or any type of kinesis for that matter - you need to have the same fundamentals required for telekinesis.
B) Get a candle and light it.
C) Take it to a windless place. Remember that you HAVE to move it with your mind without the use of any physical means. If you use the wind for example, you're cheating and it's not gonna work for you.
D) Now try to control the flame. Here's a tip: Make the flame seem like an extension of your body. Imagine that you can control it just the way you can control your hands. It will take you a while to get used to this feeling, but eventually you will succeed.
E) When you're able to control the flame, move on to a more difficult exercise: Create the flame. As I mentioned above, this can only occur if you mentally heat the object (In this case the candle) until it burns. Making the fire is impossible... just a note, creating ANYTHING is impossible - our mind is only capable of "playing" with the object rather than creating them.
F) Tips: Keep trying! This may take a while, but it's definitely worth it.

Ive starting taking a liking to bending fire and wind. After about a month im nearly down with fire now im able to warm myself whenever i need to but its hard to control the fire. When one of my friends touches me they say how do i always stay so warm i just say its gift. I wish i could control the fire though

actually, it is possible to create a flame as stated in the top comment from "divusapprentice" through deep meditation, it is possible to control the flow of your chi, and while this may not be a place for sciencey talk, lets take a quick look at the scientific aspect of this. when energy is released, heat is created. fire is one way to represent a form of pure energy. now back to the pilisophical aspect. your chi is your inner energy, being able to control your chi, you can actually expel your chi from your body, and there for, release energy, creating a fire. i myself have not been able to get more than gray smoke to appear, but i have a friend that can occasionally get an actual flame. i does seem that he needs some sort of a "feul" however, whether that be anger or spiritual peacefulness, you need some sort of emotional "spark" since when you do this, you are actually expelling your chi, your energy, from your body, it can be incredibly draining both physically and mentally. but it is possible to create flame using only your pure energy.

Yes nothing is impossible but you must understand that you cannot create fire.You can only set something on fire.This is because fire needs air,fuel &heat.Anyone cut no fire.You cannot hold a fireball and throw it at opponents.

Um I have a question....I've been able to waver flames since I was a young child. I can remember being four years old and my grandmother told me I couldn't have something and I got really really mad. The next thing I knew four candles had burst into flame. When I was ten we went on a camping trip and I could easily move the flames around with no wind factor involved....so what does that mean for me?

One of my techniques i use is try to feel the flames aura in your aura (don't get you fingers too close or it burns D:) and imagine strings pulling at the flame. Try to pull the tip or the middle of the flame out towards your hands. sorry for the extremely long post, I'm new here :D

Creating fire is not impossible. When manipulating fire, you're manipulating the heat energy, to be more precise. You can create fire by gathering enough heat energy into a small enough point to ignite something, whether it be paper, a string, or even air.

I'm quite new to any kinesis, I'm also quite surprised with pyrokinesis, I seem to be a millimeter better at it with each time I practice, I'm still very new at it though. I can make the flame from the candle rise a millimeter or 2, but can't seem to make it lower. The only way it will lower is if I stop keeping it up, it won't lower or rise past a certain point though. I suppose the reasonable thing to do would to keep practicing, and to meditate more. Thank you for giving me hope, I have gotten this far, I know I can continue with results I had hoped for. Really, thank you...one more thing, would it be ok to practice more than one? I am also interested in Areokinesis, and on the note that I can practice as many as I'd like, Electrokinesis and Vitakinesis (Healing I think) has sparked my interests.....heh.....sparked....electro....anyway, THANKS AGAIN! ^v^

i'm like so happy to meet other ppl lke myslf, ppl offtenthink i'm crazy cause i've always believed in these things because i would be able to pull energies into me when mediating and and been able to call apond light being from the universe to assisted me, i can see different types of energie, i remebered once manifesting a water molecule and i placed my hand through it and my hand became wrinkle like water soaked and my sister was so amazed so much thing shave happening to me, and im loving every moment of it, now reading ur'll experiences i don't feel weird at all

hey i think i have these abilities but i dont know i have been able to control fire a couple times onece i made a candle raise 7in but that was just once then i was playin with fire and a pice of paper cought on fire and was buring to the left and i made it move right i alwasys had a weird connection with fire and heat i alwasys fell stronger when im around it and when i want to or when im cold i can focus and make my self warmer ar even hot it i wanna get out of school but i relly need help contrilling fire if u can email me and help me at ashleystout24@yahoo.com i would really apreshiate it thank you (i no i spelit things wrong im sorry)
