Pyrokinesis is the ability to move, influence and extinguish fire. Following is a video that demonstrated this ability:

 

Pyrokinesis ranges from being able to move a candle's fire at will to being able to set something on fire. Creating fire out of nowhere is impossible, but with sheer determination you might be able to make something burn. This is accomplished by mentally heating an object which even though extremely rare is possible. I haven't personally done it, but I've seen it a couple of times.

Training:

A) Read This article to understand the basics of telekinesis. In order to perform pyrokinesis - or any type of kinesis for that matter - you need to have the same fundamentals required for telekinesis.

B) Get a candle and light it.

C) Take it to a windless place. Remember that you HAVE to move it with your mind without the use of any physical means. If you use the wind for example, you're cheating and it's not gonna work for you.

D) Now try to control the flame. Here's a tip: Make the flame seem like an extension of your body. Imagine that you can control it just the way you can control your hands. It will take you a while to get used to this feeling, but eventually you will succeed.

E) When you're able to control the flame, move on to a more difficult exercise: Create the flame. As I mentioned above, this can only occur if you mentally heat the object (In this case the candle) until it burns. Making the fire is impossible... just a note, creating ANYTHING is impossible - our mind is only capable of "playing" with the object rather than creating them.

F) Tips: Keep trying! This may take a while, but it's definitely worth it.

When you are drained its because you are strained and did a good job trying or accomplishing it, I just went through 72 matches and not Im feeling a bit strained. Dont over do it. Take your time, youll get better results being less stressed so take a break, you deserve it :)

I did it!! I made a candle get bigger!!! There was this candle standing in front of me and the flame was about to go out and with just a wave of my hand it went out!! Then I did it again while it was lit, and the flame grew by three inches. Can you believe that?

i have made a tech that really worked for me and it also keeps warm and here it is. 1st you breath in through your nose and exhale from the mouth. then you close your eyes and think about things that make you warm and think about the sun too! you also need to breath the way i told you to (while thinking about the things) and after you think about the things.

Pyrokinesis learners,i think all of you need to read this: As far back as 1763, when Jonas Dupont wrote a book called De Incendiis Corporis Humani Spontaneis, the idea of a mysterious condition called Spontaneous Human Combustion (SHC) was discussed. In SHC a person suffers injury common from fire damage—or actually catches fire—with no external influence from fire. Burns, blisters, smoking and actual incineration occur with no explanation. A condition which, according to anecdotal evidence, seems to affect the elderly more than any other group, SHC has a few trademark indicators that separate it from normal fire damage. In a house fire a victim’s trunk is typically whole with the limbs and head burned off, but a SHC case is the opposite, with the trunk gone but parts of the limbs - hands and feet - remaining. Also cases where a person dies or is injured by fire but nearby flammable objects, such as bedclothes or furniture, remain untouched, as if the target was consumed from within. SHC is a phenomenon which is not directly linked to pyrokinesis, but logical conclusions can, and have been, drawn between the two. A person suddenly catching fire for no discernable reason could certainly be the target of a pyrokinetic, if one supposes the existence of such. Other theories around both SHC and pyrokinesis concern practitioners struggling to control their ability and accidentally turning it on themselves, resulting in SHC. Watch out for the backfire~!!

The law that says "You cannot create something out of nothing" is still true, its not creating something out of nothing..its creating something out of manipulated energy fields. Go outside to a quiet place to meditate. When you're calmed down or in a calm state, feel the earth and its magma beneath you. Feel the hot energy from the magma rising and entering your body. Hold it there then let it go. Practice this for a week or until you feel ready to move on. When you are ready, transfer this heat energy to a psi ball and after that, use it for pyrokinesis. well what he is trying to explain is that fire must draw off a fuel constently yes the hydrogen is true and that would be "like" out of no were but it isnt creating fire becuz fire is when molucules are set at such high speed that they warmup to combustion so you would just be heating up the molcules of hydrogen in the air so in conclusion with out anything any atoms it is impodible to create flame but it is probable to to heat somthing up to combustion i hope i helped you out with your question alchemist

But you say that creating a fire is impossible, but what able using aerokinesis to get hydrogen into one place, then heat it until it burns (as hydrogen is flammible) so then that would be like creating fire. And another thing, if you can simply heat things with your mind, then why cant you just make fire with your mind, without fuel?
