Psionics Daily Issue One-Aerokinesis
Psionics Daily-Issue One
In this series of ninety-four articles, I will go through brief tutorials on
ninety-four different abilities/powers I have identified, categorized, and
experimented with, each with varying success (THIS is what I do in my free
time.)
These mostly will be short essays on what the abilities are, followed by
some base-level information to get you started. People of any skill level
can benefit from this.
Aerokinesis:
Aerokinesis is defined as the ability to control air. This ability covers many
things, from weather manipulation (atmokinesis), to dust manipulation
(psammokinesis).
There are two varieties of aerokinesis, active, and passive:
Active:
Involves the use of energy filaments projected into the air, and expanded
to link with the air itself. Control these filaments, and by extension, the air.
Relatively quick and easy to learn, but yields lesser results.
Passive:
Using mind over matter (pure willpower), to force the air into motion.
Requires a great deal of practice, but the potential is virtually unlimited.
Some useful things that can be done with aerokinesis include choking, wind
control, and even, at the advanced level; a replacement for telekinesis.
To begin with aerokinesis, I would start with learning to control the wind.
Start with either active or passive, and stick with it. Surprisingly,
large-scale aerokinesis is easier than small-scale.
More to follow.
If you have further questions on the topic, feel free to PM me at any time.

from my experience I'd say that active is better for small scale stuff and passive is better for large scale.
Well, I like to think some of us are pretty smart. Also, thanks shade!
This isn't actually helpful at all lol.
Its like telling people.
"do some multiplication here and some division there, it will take lots of focus but you will master it in a while."
This does not really teach anything, its just vague and hopefully the person is smart enough to get anything out of it.
Nice! I have been waiting for an article series like this.
Forcing. It takes a lot of patience when you start out, but requires no energy whatsoever.
when using mind over matter are you moving the air with probability or just forcing it?
awright!passive seems way easier for me,is this normal?what did you do,i mean your a natural in aerok too aren't you?
Why thank you Raven.
And if you practice both it is good, each one has advantages. Learn to master both.
one of my abilities is aero, what should i do,passive or active?
has anybody told you that you are very COOL??
