Psionic Emotiokinetics 1

     It is universally known that emotions are capable of influencing the psionic power levels of humans, and certain other beings, the fashion in which the aforementioned abilities being dependent on the nature of the emotional stimulation affecting the being. It is my goal in this discourse to offer a somewhat revealing and illuminating  explanation for the reason for; and process behind, human emotiokinetics, and the affects thereof on the  nature and usage of psionics.

     The human emotional responses are purely hormonal, i.e., the primitive "fight or flight" response that is induced by imminent mortal danger, or the assumption of dangers and/or other fear-inducing events. The chief hormones responsible for the aforementioned action responses are serotonin and adrenaline. Serotonin being the primary emotional regulator, and adrenaline being a physical enhancement hormone that increases heart rate, perspiration, and may cause heart palpitations, and stroke depending on how powerful the release. On a purely physical standpoint, the "fight or flight" response increases awareness, boosts strength, but comes with the additional tradeoff that the higher thought functions are reduced in a manner similar to intoxication. Ergo, when a human's body is under the influence of adrenaline, then his/her reason and logic skills are severely hampered, while the individual may still be under the illusionary assumption that they are still functioning with the cortex at full capacity. You don't have to be a genius to see how dangerous of a situation this can be. It is my belief that emotions and hormones are directly linked with the emotional centers of the brain.

     The emotional centers of the brain, in my opinion, are also capable of producing a boost of energy, as a failsafe wired into human physiology so that the psionically advanced human is given a boost, so that they may escape. This proves that psionics is not a feature of only some humans, but rather all humans, seeing as all humans are given the same emotion centers, and hormones, and by extension, the same psionics
abilities.
