They like to switch.

The monsters are entities sealed in cards.

NABARI NO OU

The shinrabansho could be like the Hall of Records.

DRAGON BALL Z

This so obvious. The whole show is ki.

NARUTO

Obvious. The ninja use energy.

POKEMON

The pokemon are, in a sense, combatant constructs. The Pokeballs are constructs designed to contain.

THE ALCHEMYST SERIES

Nicholas and Perenelle can use their energy for battle. In the second book, Perenelle gets trapped with an Astral Spider.

BLEACH

The author of Bleach Tite Kubo is a psychic. Bleach is based off our real psychic world. Shinigami/Soul Reapers are angels. Hollows are Ghoul Souls. The Espadas are Principal Spirits, and Soul Society is Heaven.

AKIRA

'Esper' Takashi is a psychic.

 

See, the media knows psi is real, but they gloss it. All these anime have the subliminal message that psi IS real.

I've noticed that a lot of shows and movies, not just anime, portrays psychic abilities in different ways.

Naruto also mentions Astral Projection, the chakra system, and the need to train to tap into these extra sensory abilities.

However-- there is still a sense of reality that must be kept. Anime is anime, even though they present realistic concepts.

i believe that anime is real, the characters are not real but the things they show are real.

I kinda knew that Akira toriyama creater of dragon ball practice psychic cause he practice martial arts found a way to use ki,well Masashi Kishimoto knows alot about energy manipulation and bleach well soul society is heaven and spirit world and they use riatsu (spirit energy) so i believe hes also a psychic but the one that is more realistic is naruto
to be able to control energy to make a clone is like 2 years of super hard clone and to make a chidori 2 times a day would kill you and rasengan would take a normal person 3 years of hard trainin to even be able to do one complete one

Yep. Tite Kubo is psychic. Got the info from the REAL Gotei (the Angels). So Yes. Most things in Bleach are possible which leads me to believe other manga writers my also be psychic. Giving their characters powers in the mangas more credibility.
