Nothing and something

Okay I just read an article and it reminded me of this idea I got, I believe, last week. It's just an in-depth thought and I love to have discussions with other people and sometimes even more, when I think about it to myself. Anyways, the topic was about "nothing." how can this be?!?! This is madness!!! A woman screams *aaahhhhhhhggghhhhhhghghh!!!!!!!!* you're entering the twilight zone.... This is what my idea was; if the opposite of something, is nothing, meaning instead of a physical substance, emotion, thought, energy/soul, etc. is absolutely nothing at all and just a complete blank in the universe, if it has no characteristics, no feel, no sense of emotions, thoughts, composition of energy or even a soul, if it has no purpose, if it has no equal, no kin, nobody or 'thing' like it, if it has no reason or explanation, and is without a cause and an idea, if it stands alone unparalleled to everything else, if it is unlike no other, then wouldn't 'it' be something after all? Here, take this for example, to represent a "nothing" or I guess a "void" let's use an empty closet. That closet IS empty, and it HAS nothing inside of IT. Now if you were to take a rod and extend it to both walls from left to right, then it has something in it. Now this "void" was empty just a few seconds ago, but now it's not, and now it has something within itself. Now at this point think about what was said so far, the "nothing"/closet was empty, but we put a rod in it and now it's not. So far, we've classified it as a THING and what appears to be the sort of a vessel. What is this? What do I mean? Wtf? It's a container, and we filled it with something. So now it's starting to look very clear now and the picture is starting to really stand out. It makes sense right? Now, since that "nothing" has been tallied as "something" that would mean that it IS something after all and not nothing. Yes, nothing is something. This is my idea. See, no matter what, there is always something, somewhere.. ALWAYS, and whether you wanna call it, "nothing", "void", "vessel", "container", or even a "closet", it is still something. Now if you're thinking that it is space then my dear ones, you are VERY wrong and smack yourself on the back of the hand for doing so. Space is room, and although it is similar to what we call the "closet"/"nothing" it is something that takes up where the "nothing" roams. Our "nothing" has no space, and unfortunately must be filled with space, in order to not be called "nothing"/"void." Now you may be thinking, "why okand, you've just contradicted your own idea, are you I'll?!?!!" Well, not necisarily, see if we go back through, we can recall that the closet had nothing within it before we placed the rod in it right? Well, in order to fill it with space, we need nothing, and so basically here it is: to fill nothing with space you need nothing to fill. All you need to fill that nothing is itself!! LMAO astounding!! Nothing is required for you have it right there in front of your eyes!!! So, for the "space" we'll call it air and here... We.... GO.... This next example os the same but dofferent. The ziplock baggy is empty, so we fill it with air, now it has space. At this point, it no longer is filled with nothing but with space. HOLD ON!!! captin, do we set sail?!?! Nooo!!! Now all of our nothing is gone!!! Where'd it go????! It's not "nothing" anymore, it's space. Where'd the nothing go????? Did it disperse, did it travel through a worm hole, did it transform into space???????? Here is where Y'ALL come in, tell me, where'd the "nothing" go??? Also, I you'd rather, we can discuss the "nothing" instead :) Also, grammar check as needed.

i know! i have had thesd thoughts also... the nothing was simply filled... nothing is absolutely malleable, so it was filled. like a cell membrane and a virus... except that nothing wont explode... that or nothing didn't exist in the 1st place... maybe since it's nothingness, it is erased from existence.

The nothing is a thing itself. If it's being nothing, then it's nothing. But don't let that side track you. Haha it's one of those things, that if you knew exactly what I wa thinking, it makes perfect sense. Ya know? Haha

It's just that, 'being nothing' is something, because it's 'being'.

no im just saying you have things that are not needed in this article such as the last part "HOLD ON!!! captin, do we set sail?!?! Nooo!!! Now all of our nothing is gone!!! Where'd it go????! It's not "nothing" anymore, it's space. Where'd the nothing go????? Did it disperse, did it travel through a worm hole, did it transform into space????????
