Music Universe Separation

Whenever I hear really good music/singing, I become really conscious of myself, like I've been separated from being everyone else and am just 'myself'.

It is like the Universe connects us all and for a few seconds I become disconnected.

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

yea I get that feeling alot when I listen to a great rock song

When I listen to progressive metal music, (like Animals as Leaders) I get that feeling. Something about music goes deeper than vibrations travelling through the air.
