i was thinking that we could have an election for five to six people to be the leader or represenative for all kinetics, psions, non humans, and humans here on the site and everywhere. so just think about it

I think that power shouldnt be the onl factor. Its certainly a thing to be conssidered, but other things shoould take precedence.

I suspect that Psions would elect the strongest and wisest out of their respective gropus. Of course strength is relative to the diffuculty of the abilities being represented.
However, if this idea WERE to be put in place, I'd like to nominate myself to be the eyes, ears, and voice of non-kinetics the world over. I also expect most people here are unfamiliar with my history here at MyTk so here it is in a nutshell:
In early Oct 2011, I first came to MyTk as a telepath with a dream of a better world where humans and Psions live free of intollerance. Little did I know that when the First MyTk Mentor elections came around, I would actualy win the position of Telepathy Mentor. I offered my training and advice to any and all MyTk members who sought it. But in Novermber 2011, a tragedy struck... my grand daughter's teacher and my closest friend Caroline was murdered. A tragedy that shook me and my grand daughter, for whom I've cared for since she was very little, to the core. I was forced to chose between MyTk and my mentor position or her, so I made the obvious choice and relinquished my position and students in an article I posted @ http://www.mytelekinesis.com/alphos-official-resignation-and-good-byealphos.html

I am not suggesting electing a singular leader of non-kinetics, meerly an ambassador to represent us on this council.
The ambassador would have absolutely no governing power over non-kinetics, instead, he would be our eyes ears and voice on the council. 1.) Assuming this election took place and everything went smoothly, do you think we can get every MyTk member to recognize them as the leaders of all Psions?
2.) We do not represent the entire population of Psions on earth... far from it. There are only a few thousand people on this site and not the millions of Psions that exist as a whole.
3.) The skill level of each member of this ruling council would need to be so rediculously high that they would be the hands down choice for the role. This defeats the idea of a democratic election.
4.) How would this ruling council decide it's position on such controvertial topics as the Veil, Astral Conflicts, alternate dimentions, religion, and the existance of Psions as a whole?
I would be in favor of this idea IF it gained the support of the moderators and/or admin team.
This would be an unprecidented event that would bring a bit of unity among Psions BUT what of Psions such as I who have no Kinetic powers? Would we be represented on this ruling body at all or would we fall into a minority group that must lobby the ruling council for action and/or representation.
This is a major move by members of MyTk and the most important thing is to remember that we are not the only Psions on Earth, unifying all MyTk members, let alone all PSIONS, would be a monumental challenge.
