This is the second article in my Invictus series.

I am focusing on shields here.

 

Everyone knows about the basic bubble shield right?

What many don't know is that it's possible to shield yourself from just about anything.

The shields I have in place are stacked, one on top of the other, like this:

Cloak (Masks my astral presence, and interferes with ESP).

Bubble Shield (A standard run-of-the-mill energy shield).

Particle Shield (A shield that reduces the effectiveness of physical impacts by 50%).

Bubble Shield (A secondary shield).

Bio-Shield (A shield against sickness, more on this later).

Telepathy/Empathy/Force Thought Shield (Protects against mind reading and thought control).

Bubble Shield (A last level shield, if you get this far, I'm probably screwed).

 

Now, I don't claim to be an expert in shielding, but I will say that I am quite proud of my shields.

They cover all bases, and that is good enough for me.

 

Now, here is how you can make your own shields:

Cloak

A cloak is, in essence, a masking field placed over your entire body, aura and all. Mine has been reinforced over five years, and never dropped during all that time, which is part of the reason I am non-visible in the astral realm.

To make a cloak:

Stealth Energy. Thats what a good cloak is made of. I point you to an earlier article of mine:

Use energy imbued with a static field (screen snow), and make a coat. Place it around you, and reinforce it daily.

 

Bubble Shield

Nothing more than a basic bubble of ki, placed all the way around you.

 

Particle Shield

This one's interesting.

Make a bubble shield. Then another, one inch outside of the first. Place lightly packed ki balls, flattened and small, in between the two.

If made correctly, it cuts all physical impacts in half. Very cool.

Keep this inactive though, because if it's constantly active, it will interfere with your sense of touch.

Bio-Shield

A very little known type of shield.

Making a good bio-shield takes practice, and it can only block out diseases that you have already come into contact with.

Purge the sickness from your body, by envisioning each individual cell filling with fire and being cleansed. Force the fire to a place just outside your body. The field will relax, and form a bubble.

Do this every time you get sick.

Telepathy Shield

Place a static field around your mind.

This takes practice, and for more information, I would find someone more experienced than I.

 

With a good shields array, you can protect yourself from most attacks, physical and psionic, and this will greatly aid you.

Wait, I almost forgot!

Element Shielding

 

Cold Shield/Cryo Shield

Placed around you to protect you during extreme heat moments.

Envision a sheet of ice wrapping around you.

Heat Shield/Thermo Shield

Placed around you to protect you from cold.

I can attest to the fact that these work extremely well.

Last winter there was two feet of snow on the ground, and I got my thermoshield potent enough to shovel snow in shorts and a t-shirt when it was 11 degrees out, with a thirty-five mile per hour wind.

To make a heat shield, use the thermo wall tech, but wrap it around you.
