CHAPTER 11:TORTURE

 

 

Liada just couldn't bare any more pain.He knew all her strengths and weaknesses.He was prepared for this.By the moment he betrayed her, he just didn't look back.It was as if he had been brainwashed.She now begged him for mercy.

“Ugh!”,she screamed for once more,and her torturer couldn't help

laughing.She just wanted all of this to stop.But she could never betray her friends.She was had been hoping,all these days that she'd been tortured,that someone would come and save her.

“Let's see how you like this one”,he said and marked a symbol on her with his burning touch.Liada couldn't do anything but scream.This kind of Sigil was specifically designed for inflicting excrutiating pain to the target.

“What do you want from me?Just let me go!”,she pleaded.

“The location!”,he said in a harsh voice.

“That, you will never find!I will never tell you!”

“Oh,really?Is that what you think?I always have a way to get what I want!”,he said,and then he muttered a spell,a one that Liada knew very well.

“No!”,she cried, as her astral body was being slowly burnt and petrified.

“Hmmm...”,he mumbled,”I see you are familiar with this spell!”.He moved his head to stop the petrification,right where her neck was. “Are you ready to start talking?”

Liada's spiritual body was aching so much,even though petrified,that she couldn't say a word.

“Not yet,I presume”,he said and touched Liada's forehead, electrocuting her.

The pain was so overwhelming that Liada thought,even for a second,betraying the location of the Order.But, quickly,she removed this thought from her head.She would die to protect their friends.She might have been stubborn some times, and even argued with them,but this didn't change the fact that she was loyal to them to the core.Unfortunately for her,though,the man was just starting to get creative.

He pulled a knife out of its sheath and chanted an ancient spell.Even Liada had never heard of it.It must have been ancient,she guessed,or he had made it up on his own.The dagger's blade burst into purple flames.

“Unholy fire!”,he told her with an evil grin.

Unluckily,she knew what that was,as well.And it was very,very rare to find.She truly wondered where he had dug up this spell.But she tried not to think of it.It was the least of her problems.

He plunged the dagger deep into Liada's heart chakra,cutting through the stone,which made things worse.She yelled and cried,all in vain.

“Alright,alright,i'll tell you!”,she screamed in despair.

“Oh my, my....You decided to 'confess'!”,he mocked.

Liada didn't intend to betray the Order,but she was trying to buy some time.She had thought of a cpmbination of forcecraft spells that would allow her to disable the man for a while.

“I can't bare this anymore!Screw loyalty!”,she screamed,lying and faking some tears.Come on,she needed just a little longer to remember the whole spells!

“So?Tell me...”,he demanded.

She didn't speak.

“Are you gonna spill it or what?”

That was it.She remembered them.At the right time.

“Omni maxumus voidus pyro bentidoct!”,che screamed,now having regained her strength.The dagger's flames turned black,resulting to the man losing his concentration,letting Liada strike again. “Omni Bentidoct Voidus Ancile Liquentis Hydro Cyro Aero Thundora Cosmio Magicus Iniquus Maleficus

Subduco Caecus Apricatio Concertatio Imitatio Adigo Malus Obliquus Luminoct”,she cried.The spell broke the man's shields.Still hanged upside down,Liada screamed the last of her spells. “Omni Animus Voidus Accelero Aevus Dorise!”

She had now completely paralyzed her opponent.But she needed to figure out a way to get out of this chain wuickly,before the man woke up!She instantly had an idea.If she couldn't do it,why not call someone else?

“Lusta venie!”,she chanted.and a Void Elemantal Spirit appeared before her. “Untie me”,she commanded.The Elemental obeyed,and then disappered,after bowing down to her.She was finally free!
