How To: Telepathic Self Defence

Hey guys Alphos here with another How To. Since I've already done Telepathic Defence, I thought it best to show you guys a few basic telepathic attacks you can use to drive off a hostile psionic.

*NOTE: I know telepathy is cool and the temptation to use your powers for attack is great but the best way to win a confrontation is to end it before somebody is hurt. To that end, these techniques are only stuns and disorients and I will NEVER post a how to on deliberate telepathic attack. it's just not my way.*

Technique 1.) Focus Buster: If you must confront a hostile psionic, this is a great way to keep them from using their more advanced powers. A Focus Buster is a telepathic burst that "scrambles an individual's thought process for a few seconds. First, make a connection with the attacker. Second, picture a vast white space with nothing but yourself and a Hot Wheels track, or something similar. Third simply break the track in one or more places and the car will drive straight off. The Hot Wheels car or whatever rides the track represents the enemy thought process and by derailing it, you have bought yourself a few seconds to escape or counterattack with your own psionics.

Technique 2.) The Secret Function of the Guilded Sword: If you have read my How to defend against hostile Telepaths, you know the guilded sword is a great telepathic ward, but I never told you what it's true function was... until now. The Guilded Sword is really a double edged technique. THe first edge is the defence, the second is the attack. To turn the Guilded Sword against your attacker, assuming he/she is a telepathic attacker, first check to make sure they are attempting to bypass or Focus Bust your Guilded Swoar Ward. Normaly this ward can take two or three focus busters but not more so be sure to do this before it falls. While they attempt to break your Sword's protection, picture a vast white space. Place your hands on your chest and withdraw the Guilded Sword. Hold the sword, within your mind, at if you are about to strike an enemy soldier. When the attacker tries to break your ward, lash out at their mind with the sword and their attack will be repulsed. This only works as a defensive measure as removing the sword from your own mind will destroy it and the ward so no luck using it to attack.

Technique 3.) Shield Breaker: All of these techniques are all well and good but what if your attacker has a telepathic ward to keep you out? No problem, all you need to do is simply batter it into submission. Having a stable connection with the attacker, picture a vast white space with only yourself and an enormous castle. Make the castle the largest, mightyest castle you can immagine. Now pound your enemy with Focus Busters until the walls begin to crack. At this point, we bring in the big guns. Muster all your focus and determination into a single all-powerful telepathic burst and unleash it upon the crumbling castle. This should shatter the walls and destroy the castle, along with the enemy ward. If your foe is a powerful telepath, he/she may have erected a potent ward such as a Guilded Sword and may seek to strike at you with it just as mentioned in technique 2.  If this happens quickly create yourself a bubble ward and hold out as long as you can, being struck with the sword will sever your connection and likely disorient you for a few seconds so be careful who you try this on.
