Holiness vs. Omnibenevolence

Bonjour dudes and dudettes. I've heard a few arguments about God not being omnibenevolent for creating a hell, even to the extreme of having no hell at all! I just want to set one thing straight in this article. God's holiness trumps all of His other attributes, because that's what makes Him God. Therefore, if unholiness (aka person who rejects Jesus' forgiveness) is in heaven, which is God's residence, he must remove it. So he needed a Recycle Bin of sorts. As for the "Why is Earth so evil?" argument, it was Adam, Eve, and Satan. Satan tricked Eve, Eve didn't listen to God's commands, and Adam didn't step up like he should have. Humans were originally perfect, but were corrupted by Satan, the opposite of God. Actually, (rabbit trailing warning) Lucifer was the worship leader of heaven, but he got cocky and tried to become God, so he lost his authority. From then, he took on the opposing attributes of God. Hardcore anti-God protest.

God can't be "perfect" Because the very meaning of the word "perfect" is based on perception and opinion, and for God to fit every opinion means he'd fit the corrupt ones as well. And good and bad are also perceptions, therefore they don't actually exist but to the people who claims sides. By saying imperfect ones see only one side is saying NOONE can see both sides, therefore, your statement is void.

Oh please. I don't need to hear your fundamentalist fear mongering. Evil exists because of Humanity's perceived disconnection from the divine, not because of an imaginary satan. Hell is a threat and Heaven is a bribe. Both used to control a materialistic society. The true afterlife is far more complex. And Omnibenevolence is INFINITE GOODNESS while Holiness means WHOLE. This has gotten out of control, okay firstly, deathspark, God is perfect, He has no beggining, thus no end, what is imperfect is peoples opinions, as they are basic themselves on their own perception, like I said before, there is always a good side and a bad side to every action/event. Selfish people, who are selfish and therefore imperfect, see one side only, the good or the bad, the selfless see the whole truth, thus they have attained a degree of perfection. It is no good to point out people's ignorence when you are ignorent yourself. @lordsilver, I think that you have forgotten the Islamic name, but names do not matter, what matters is their meaning.

Just thought I should point out that bb Is incorrect when he talks about elohim, Elohim isn't one of the sacred names in fact Elohim is actually an angelic elder. The Christian,Jewish and Islamic gods are the same and he/it is the being we reffer to as the divine. The sacred names are:Adonai,jehova,tetragrammaton, alga, Yahweh and one more I can't remember.

If your so holy how about going to the bad places and preaching thier like jesus did.
He preach where almost everyone was bad and did bad things like in the ghetto where everyday in front of your house you see drug dealers and serial killers and people getting killed and rob.do you preach in areas like those and if you live in areas like these then you wouldnt be talking shit about only christians going to hell and i never hearda black preacher or priest say that not trying to be racist.if you live in these places like jesus was then dont be talking about this stuff.people love jesus back then cause he was the only person who said to go to heaven be a good person and taught people how to be good

Yeah bb is right and if you ignorant people are acting like the pharisees saying the only way to heaven is through judism.and jesus said he didnt like those people.jesus always had arguments with them saying only way through heaven is through him which is being a good person.annd dont make good of your own veiw cause you didnt create the english langauge and some christians are acting like a cult saying if you dont join us your going to hell.well jesus teachings were to be a good person some stuff is right.he said when you go to heaven without beleiving in god your going to be in a low place in heaven

Plus Elohim (name of the Christian God) CAN'T be perfect because perfection is an opinion. Therefore to be perfect he'd have to meet the opinion of EVERYONE at the same time, therefore making him corrupt, because perfection is corrupt. He also can't always be "right" because of this same reason. Elohim is flawed as much as any god/deity. Get over it.

Stop this religion shit. First of all, if you die and you've done more wrong things than good, you go through karmic correction until its balanced, and then you go to heaven. Karmic Correction is what you call 'torture' which takes place in hell. And second of all the bible is a reoccuring metaphor.

When you think about it your balancing perfection(heaven) with imperfection. In other words that could be anything and the opposite of paradise is chaos but thats why things like the void and abyss exist.

Um I was brought up a catholic and when I asked a local priest he said Adam and eve was just a story to help people understand. There was another story that was very similar to evolution. Anyway your kinda right about lucifer but read revolations for the full story. Finally the word hell isn't in the bible and you think of it a loving god would not have a recycle bin. He is holy but not big headed. You simply go to another level of heaven, regardless to whether you believe you won't be put in hell however everyone good or bad must face judgement. This is when all the sadness and pain is piled on top of you at once and then you must admit your wrong then you will be given acess to the third heaven or above if not you will be put in the second.

So we getting punished for not believeing in a jewish zombie who was born because a talking snake tricked a girl into eating an apple. If you believe only christians goes to heaven then i dont think god would ever send billions of people to eternal suffering for not believing in christians talking about only we go to heaven.i believe in hell.my is theres earth with the astral similar to the christian purgatory and then heaven.and faith in the mind and christians believe you go to heaven through faith but your character is in your heart
