Two months passed since Luke tried to fight the shadows. He found out that the energy he used was called Ki. He shouldn’t have been able to at his level, but he was wearing an enchanted amulet. He couldn’t take it off it was cursed or something. Soon they were teaching him lessons in psionics. He found out he was an electrokinetic, the second rarest ability there is. He is being molded into a shadow, along with the others. The other cells held six other kids, three boys and three girls. There were others but he came to know them best. The first was a girl; she was Latino, had black and red hair, had red eyes and was a pyrokinetic. Her name was scarlet. The second a boy, brown hair, blue eyes, he was an aerokinetic and his name was jack. The other two names were, Ryan and Sarah. Ryan had black hair, dark brown eyes and was a natural lunarkinetic; Sarah had white hair, blue eyes and was a cyrokinetic. Finally there was Amy, blue hair green eyes and was a hydrokinetic. Oh and I forgot to describe Luke, he's half black, half white, has short curly afro style hair. If it grows it will be an afro but it won’t grow. But enough introductions let’s get on with the story. Today is the tournament, that will deterrent if there worthy to become shadows.

 

"Today’s the tournament; you all need to fight your hardest." The grandmaster came through the dungeon door. They had become cooperative, they no longer were shackled. "Luke don’t be afraid to use your amulet, its one of your abilities, so it’s permitted." Luke nodded. He didn’t want to be a shadow but he had nowhere to go. They entered the main arena, masters from all over came to play there apprentices. Luke gazed across the room; hundreds of apprentices from around the world came. "Hello, grandmaster of the Texas faction." One of the judges announced. So they were in Texas, it made sense, having more country than city people could own acres and acres of land and not have anyone ask questions. "Thank you, we have many apprentices but these seven have shown the most progress." "What are there natural powers?” He pushed Ryan forward. "This one is named Ryan, he is a lunarkinetic." Slowly he named the others, until he came down to Sarah and Luke. "These to have the most rare powers, this one," he pointed to Sarah," is a cyrokinetic." murmurs exploded through the arena. "Hmm that is rare, im anxious to see her in battle. She might just be the winner, what is the boys power, is he a geokinetic." The man asked. "No," a grin broke across his face," He's an electrokinetic." Gasps roared from the audients."Now that’s a very rare and powerful ability, this should be an exceptional tournament. But enough introductions let it begin."

 

The fight raged on, Sarah fought a geokinetic, Sarah won. Jack fought a hydrokinetic, jack lost. One by one they all fought, now it was likes turn. "Up next is Luke, the electrokinetic." The grandmaster walked up to him. "This is going to be a cince." "Against the, oh my, the necrokinetic Shane." Luke began to worry, how could he defeat somebody who could command death. Luke walked into the arena staring at his opponent. "Let the fight begin." The announcer shouted. Shane shot a black ray at Luke, he sidestepped the beam. Luke charged forward shooting electricity at Shane. He summoned an electricity whip. He lashed out. Shane dogged, countering with a wave of necro kinetic energy. Luke wasn’t fast enough to dodge, it slammed into him. He felt his limbs die. He rose to his feet finding he couldn’t move his left arm. It was dead. Shane shot two more. Both slammed into Luke. All he could move now was his right arm. "Hmm I thought an electrokinetic would put up more of a fight." He let out a laugh as he moved closer to Luke. Luke collapsed on the ground couldn't move. Shane stood a couple feet off his right side. He threw his hand over his head. Necrokinetic energy flying in to the air staying in the air about three feet in the air. Luke thrusted forward, grabbing Shane's leg, pouring as much electricity as he could into him. Shane’s muscles locked up he couldn’t move. He cried in pain.  He started twitching uncontrollably.  Shane lost the connection with the energy.  It fell from the air, slamming into Shane. He collapsed, dead. Luke could move, when a necro kinetic dies all his energy is dispersed so Luke's limbs were revived. "Luke is victorious." The council roared.
