Celestial-fallen shadows chapter one

Smoke rose from the old farm house. The smell of it was strong as they were burning something.  The trees around the area were in bloom. The beautiful cherry blossom pink and red covered the ground and the trees. In the distance was a forest in which if you looked carefully you could see a temple. All that could be heard was the rustling of trees in the cool summer’s breeze with silence of the land. In the distance was a call that sounded like a stag calling to his doe.

The silence was immediately broken by a scream coming from the old farm house. Along the old dusty road came a boy around 7 dragging along his pony. The old pony struggling to carry the weight of the wood collected from the forest. As the little pony came to the bridge it stumbled. The boy stopped and reassured the boy and then they went on. The call of the stag was close now.

The boy tied up the pony by the door and ran inside the old farm house. Clouds darkened and from the sky a single cloud like formation came down. The form was hard to work out as it being covered in clouds. From the forests edge could be seen a creature watching. Down next to that creature was a small fox.

The air now filled with the screaming. Tension was filling the air too. The creatures and the fox had gone and the clouded creature stayed. It crawled on the roof of the building. Its talons could be seen and as it climbed bits of the roof fell and came smashing to the ground.  The creature then shook its body from the clouds and mist.

The clouded creature was a reptilian like thing. A dragon, an celestial dragon. Its wings were massive and covered nearly the whole area. Then with a sudden crash it knocked the chimney off and left a hole in the roof. With its talons it clawed off the rest of that part of the roof. The smashing of parts of the roof was loud and made the birds from the trees fly off.  Inside the dragon went with its head first and gracefully going in with its blue scales shinning in the light. Only it’s tail hung out the building.

From inside there was screaming and shouting. The door slammed open a girl probably only 18 ran outside carrying a small bundle in her arms. The bundle gently rapped in red silk. All the girl was wearing was a small pink kimono with a white obi. This restricted her speed and slowed her down greatly. From the old farm house the dragon finally came out lifting its head above the roof carrying something in its mouth. The head was covered in blood and as it lifted one hand like thing above the roof it cloud be seen in the other the boy. As the dragon lifted its head clouds once covered it again and the cloud and the dragon returned to the sky once more.

The small pony was in shock and looked uneasy.  The expression on its face calmed as the creature from the forest appeared near that farm house. The fox jumped through the window but as it did that anyone could notice it had two tails and not the normal 1 tail. The creature from the forest horse like and like a dragon too with wings. It lowered its mighty head to enter the building with a look of disgust at the place. Silence fell once more. All that could be heard was the wind moving the leaves of the trees.  With a smash of the window the fox came back out carrying an arm from a human and a unborn baby holding it by the arm.

Gentility the fox laid the baby and arm on the ground. It sat down and chewed on the arm and waited like a dog for its owner. Every few minutes it would nudge the baby with one of its tails. Eventually the creature came out of the building dragging 2 bodies with it. These bodies it then laid down on the ground near the baby. Its head lowered to the ground to Nussle the baby. The little fox looked with envy.

“kirin must we do it?” it asked in a cute and small voice.

“yer, of Corse kitsune. The dragons have two of the children and the humans have one. It is one is unborn but ours” The kirin said and nuzzled the baby more. The body started to move and weep. Its cry was loud and streak like. Kitsune covered her ears with her paws.

“get that thing to shut up. It sounds worse than a banshee.” Kitsune replied burring her head in the grass.

“we must take this one to the elves and the Fae. No creature like this belongs totally with us.” Kirin spoke once more.  She lowered down and lifted the baby with her head on to her back and covered it in her wings.

Kitsune moved closer to kirins head and sat there looking up in a pleading way. Her tailed wagged and in her mouth the arm dripping with blood. Kirin lowered her head down to the ground. Kitune happy climbed up her neck and on to her back. Blood dripping all over kirin’s neck and staining her purple main a red colour. Happily kitsune sat on the shoulders of kirin her head held high and her tails wagging. Kirin walked to the forest swishing her tail trees moving out of the way slightly.

Silence again, no cry of animals. The wind had stopped and the sky blue again. The pony stood on the hill and watched the place for a few minutes. Its eye burned red in colour for a flash moment then back to normal. Everything was peaceful and quiet. The blossom floating to the ground and the birds sitting in the trees all calm and docial.

 

 

 

This is just the start more people will be added as the story goes on.
