Hey guys, Alphos here with a major MLS update!

So I've been thinking alot about the MLS lately and I have gotten alot of PM's asking me to put them on the shortlist for MLS testing. I decided I am going to debunk all those PM's since I allways give the same answer every time.

Before I go into the major update I'd like to thank all of you who supported the MLS concept for being patient as I finalize the Alpha version of the system. I know it has been a long time since I gave you guys some news about the MLS and I appologize. Now to the main event!

On this, the Seventh Day of February, Twothousand-Twelve; the Mass Linking System has become stable enough to transmit 5 thoughts at once! This means it is now open for buisness, but it can only handle 5 people using it to communicate at one time.

Let me explain more simply:

If the MLS was a WiFi hotspot, it would only be able to accept 5 computers on its network at once or else it risks crashing the entire server. The same concept applies to the MLS. At this point it can only sustain 5 people using it's higher level functions at one time.

For the moment, I will be using those 5 spots to run some final tests to make sure I didn't make any catastrophicly stupid mistakes when I built the thing.

I will be preforming responsiveness tests on the MLS from aprox. 5:00 pm GMT (General Mountain Time, you can use google to find what time this is at your location) until aprox 8:30 pm GMT.

These tests are to ensure the MLS is actualy conveying mental data like I designed it to instead of annoying background noise like I hoped it wouldn't.

The Testing Schedule is as follows:

5:00-6:00 pm GMT= Testing Command Team responsiveness. This means horsyqueen will be asleep but it is necessary to proceed into the Closed Beta test. I appologize in advance to horsyqueen if I ended up giving you some rather odd dreams.

6:00-7:00 pm GMT= Testing the thought lockout system (that's the thing that keeps people from seeing the stuff in your head that you don't want them to. It also lets me deliver the banhammer to people that decide to grief the MLS).

7:00-8:00pm GMT= Testing Alpha tester responsiveness. I will be preforming these one by one in no particular order. I will post the mesages I will be sending to you as part of my responsiveness tests.

8:00-8:30 pm GMT= Making sure everything is working smoothly. I will be preforming the major updates and various energy balancing work that keeps the MLS from killing itself under the weight of the member minds at this time. Members of the MLS will feel a sense of discomfort, as well as hear a mild static or ringing sound during these tests. This indicates that your connection to the MLS as well as certain parts of your mind that allow you to become part of the system are being updated to accomidate the new changes I am making. Think of it as a Patch for the system. I will be patching every member mind during this stage.

Be aware that I will NEVER invade your mental privacy or abuse my connection to your mind in any way shape or form for any reason. The patches I will be making to the member minds are purely used to allow you to still be part of the MLS. I will be adding ideas, instructions, warnings, and other boring stuff to the minds of the MLS members. These new additions are being placed in your subconcous mind so you do not need to learn them later on. Please do not attempt to interfere with me if you sense me enter your mind as this may break my concentration and may result in some REALLY telephy that will black out your ability to resist my efforts. This effect will be temporary and I will remove these restrictions as soon as I with your mind. I repeat, these changes to your mind are in NO WAY invasive! I am NOT looking any further into your mind. I am only placing a few ideas and concepts into your cubconcous mind that will allow your mind to comprehend the new stage of the MLS. Without these additions you will NOT be able to use the MLS in any way until I install them.

Alrighty that just about covers it for today. Before I sign off on this article I would like to put out a request to any Biokinetics out there.

I recently discovered my Grand Daughter, Eve, is a natural Biokinetic and I wish for her to explore her powers. I am at a great disadvantage here because I am completely unable to preform any form of kinetics whatsoever. If anybody reading this knows any biokinetic techniques, I urge you to either PM me with the details or post them in a comment. She is a budding Psion just like us and deserves the assistance we provide to our own kind. Thank you in advance.
