Advanced Atmo

If your reading this you should have a basic understanding of meterology. In the previous article I explained how basic, easy to creat weather patterns operate. SO now I will be going on to more advanced, dangerous techniques.

Hurricanes! When many thunderstorms take place over the ocean they start a cyclone. While the winds are at speeds of 39 miles per hour, the cyclone is a tropical storm. Once they reach 74 miles per hour the cyclone is a catagory1 hurricane.(96 miles per hour catagory2, 111 miles per hour is catagory3, 131 miles per hour is catagory4, and above 155 miles per hour is a catagory5.) A hurricane is pretty much a giant, swirling thunder storm. So their great practise for tornadoes. As long as their over large bodies of water,or the ocean they whear born on,they will get stronger and stronger, they lose energy while their over land. Hurricanes dont normaly get to the middle of large land masses,so they tend to stay along the coast line.

Have you ever wanted to create tornadoes? Well just make wind current hit eachother,oh wait, their more to it then that! Just making the wind currents hit eachother will only create a wirlwind. To start you want to create a funnel cloud. Which startes as a big cloud, then wirlwinds (however powerful) start clearing away a hole in the cloud (it should look like a doughnut). Now add low pressure to the wirlwind, which brings it to the ground, that should also create a cloud wall and some rain. Now to turn it into a full fledged tornadoe, remeber what happenes when a cold front hits a warm front? If you forgotten, just add it to the wirlwind and find out. P.S. Do not try this at home kids =]

Lightning, finnaly right? Im sure i dont need to explain the power this takes or just how sweet it is. Lighting usualy happenes during thunderstormes. But can also happen during dust storms and volcanic explosions. Lightning travels at speeds around 60,000 miles per second and reaches tempuraters about 54,000 *F (30,000 *C)

Lightning doesnt actualy come from the cloud. Atleast, not only. When a cloud's negative charge becoems strong enough,it goes toward the positive charged ground. To do that it look for the tallest conducter, thats anchored to the ground. So the positive charges of the ground go up,and the negative charges go down, when they meet lightning happens. Lightning isnt actualy a long bolt of these charges meeting, but actualy many spots whear they meet, but closed together,so they go to eachother.

So you want to get a good storm a brew'n. Focus on the ground below being positive and the cloud being negative. You could imagine little bubbles with pluses and minuses to represent positive and negative. When creating the storm be sure to make little ice bits inside the cloud.

I believe I covered most the atmospheric conditions you can apply atmokinesis to. If someone became strong enough they may even be able to create meter showers or affect the weather on other planets, though this would take a degree of kowledge of the weather systems of other planets. Untill then be good.
