Absorbing from people

i know that the question is a bit far fetched, well maybe not, or maybe even grim. But, i want to know, how do i absorb energy from others? I know it leads into the dark arts, but still, it's something that will come in handy in the near future. I'm a bit weary getting into the darker side, but i'll only use it for good.

It is very easy. I have done it on a few people myself, it's not Dark Arts.
I only know it work because I didn't tell them I was going to do it, they all said they instantly felt tired.

The first is a form of grounding I like to use, it's pretty much like the energy steal except it can be used with everything. So, Step 1: Open your fist. Step 2: visualise white plant like roots growing out and spreading from the centre of your palm. (I find black roots work better when used on living things) Step 3: Make contact with whatever you want to absorb from. (If it's air just imagen the roots floating aimlessly in the air.) Step 4: Actually absorbing the energy, I find the best way to do this is to visualize green, white, red or (whatever type of energy your absorbing coloured) orbs. Have them flow into your plam and then have this energy flow into your body and to the point of your body where all your energy is stored. You can rought it out, as it sometimes is in diffrent place but ussually its behind the belly button. If you have done this right you should feel more energetic. Neurosis is right. No dark arts there, just simple manipulation.

It's nothing about the dark arts. Though it might not fit in the ethical paradigm. It's simply energy manipulation and is how psychic vampires feed. Though anyone can learn.
