A Different Style for Dark Arts

Ok, so I'm getting tired of only seeing attacks and the like being posted for the Dark Arts. I mean yeah defending yourself is important, but there's more to the arts! Basically all the Dark Arts are is maniplulating the balance of various energies. You might ask yourself, hold on I thought that was psionics in general, and you'd be right. What puts that arts apart from other styles is what type of energy we are manipulating. Normally we manipulate the type of energy that we can physically interact with, (photons, electrons, etc), in order to acheive a balance that is more to our liking, (gathering photons into a substance to make it catch fire for example). With the arts we manipulate the energy we can't physically interact with, be it anti-energy or some other form. The point is we're doing the same things in a different way! This means that there are no real 'limits'! Anything you can do one way can be done the other.

I'll be putting this into practice in later articles on various techs, including one on healing!

Also about the tech being dangerous for all involved if it backfires, that's true for all techs

Yes guardian the quote is very similar but it a point that really needs to be stressed. Also I never said the negative energy is was positive, and before people start bitching on how the arts can heal let me offer a hint. That which can be given can be taken away...

hm sounds like my quote... and dark arts are mainly negetive energy which is mostly used for deffence and attacking but it may be used in other ways i agree but keep in mind NEGETIVE ENERGY ISNT POSITIVE! if you try to heal someone with dark arts and it backfires it could be extremely dangerous for both you and the one being healed.

@Everyone..... this dude is an old member.... he didn't even bother introducing himself... apparently he was here 4 years ago... I think I can recall him but I ain't too sure.....

I'm not saying that they're wrong, what I'm saying is there are two sides to every coin. The Dark Arts can be used for non-combat, even healing applications.

I don't have enough knowledge on that subject to say whether you are right or wrong, but if you look at other views on the dark arts from many other sites, you will see a pattern. If what you are saying is true, then you are pretty much saying that thousands of people are incorrect on what the dark arts are. As for me, I choose to keep my current belief on them, and you can probably see what that would be.
