2011 'Gopl Awards Nominations

Okely-doke. I see that there are some pretty damn good (who really cares about language?) articles out there, and the authors spent so much time and effort on them. Well, I came up with a good contest to reward them. It is in a way, similar to the Emmys and Tonys, because there are categories to be nominated for, and then voting.

There will be two divisions: Single and Series Articles.

Here are the categories and divisions. I will be updating the nominations. The top three articles from each category move onto voting later.

Best Grammar:

Best Formatting:

Best Usage of Citations and Acknowledgements:

Longest Article:

Most Interesting:

Best Title:

Best Technique:


For Series of Articles:

When you nominate, name the article, the author, and if possible, give a link. ALL nominations MUST be on MYTK.

Phantomdust, Im pretty sure that no one is going to agree with you, simply because you posted an article referring to fgopl as "fagpole". Terrible grammar, and you were begging to be banned. No offense, but fgopl actually is productive here on MyTK, whereas you are not.
