Hey everyone,that's Raven,with the Chapter you had been waiting for!As you might notice,I changed both the font in the titles,and my signature,that is because it is 2012 now.So,the winner of the previous competition was NephilimZaggy,so he will soon recieve an extra chapter.The characters chosen(not by me,but by luck,i chose them accidentally,so I would be fair),are Nicolas225(Good) and Spiderdude(Bad).Sorry guys(to the others),I would have taken all of you,but I have run out of characters.You might be in my next book though!Enjoy!

CHAPTER 7:HELLHOUNDS

 

 

I woke up in the middle of a forest with a guy standing right above me.

“What the...”,I muttered.

“Shh...Stay down.It's for your own good.”,the boy said.He seemed to be applying some kind of medicine in my wound.My wound?Wait,when did I get a wound?

When my vision was clear enough,I turned my neck,only to see a seven inch hole in my chest.I was startled!I should have died by now.And...where was I?

“Don't you recognise it?It's right across your house.Now,will you let me heal this thing, or what?”,he said.

Once my visioned cleared,I could see that it was a boy,approximately my height,probably around 14,with very short hair.

“Did you read my mind?”,I asked awkwardly.

“Yup!”,he answered.He seemed pretty comfortable.

“We gotta get me to a hospital!”,I suggested the logical solution.

“Nah,I don't think you're gonna need this.I'm here!”

“And,you're gonna heal me how?”

“Well,I think you know how!”,he said and started whispering some non-sense words,while hovering his hand over my wound.I then watched my would magically regenerating.I stared in awe.I had never seen such a thing.Once the boy left me some space,I got up.

“So,who are you?”,I asked.

“I'm Jack.You can call me Shade.”

“Ok,tell me...Shade,why the heck am I here?How did I even get here?”

“Flash jump is not that hard!”

“Flash what?”

“You probably call it teleportation.”,he explained. “Now are you willing to let me tell you why am I here,before running away?”

I nodded.He had obviously read my thoughts...

“Sit down.”,he asked.I obeyed. “Okay,now we can talk!So,i'll have to admit that I've been stalking you for a while now.But,that is for your protection.You see,your father...he was a special person.A very special person,of a race more powerful than you can even imagine.So,that makes you---”

“Wait a second.”,I interrupted him. “What did you say about my father?He was just a plumber!!!”

“Hehe,is that what you've been told?Seriously now,a plumber?Noway.Okay,let's just say he wasn't who they told you he was.That makes you special.Chosen.Well,everyone's chosen for a purpose in their lives,but yours...Yours is very,very interesting.And challenging.You have a lot of things to learn my friend!I can explain this all supernatural things,but now is not the time.”

“Now is exactly the time!”,I exclaimed.

“Look”,he ignored me,”I know all this is way too much for you,but it is who you are ,and you have to accepted.This is what you always were!And my mission is to train you!But only as long as you accept it.”

In the meanwhile,I had noticed something else, too.His whole body was covered in tattoos of wierd symbols.

“May I ask you a question?”,asked I.

“Of course!”

“Why are you covered in symbols?Where did you even get all those tattoos?”
“These aren't tattoos...It's well,more like an ancient power only few actually know of.”

“Hm...You're telling me all these...but why should I believe you?I mean,you kidnapped me!”
“And saved your life,let's not forget this.”

“What was that really?The thing that cause that to me?”

“I'm not really sure.You must probably wonder who did this,rather than what.But what made this whole must have been an energy arrow.A very powerful and dense one I assume,since it made this whole.Probably,someone saw you couldn't control what you were doing,and,afraid of you hurting somebody,he decided to take pretty drastic solutions...”

“Look,everything you say,it all sounds very nice”,I lied, “but I really need to go.My mom will be very worried!”

“If you must!It's your choice.But,I'm sure you will come back soon enough.”

“How's th—”,I tried to say,but before I could finish my sentence,something attacked me and shoved me down.I could see its face.Probably the ugliest dog ever...but also the biggest and strongest I had ever seen in my life.As I expected,it bit me in my neck.Or,at least,it tried,before Shade got the chance to use his new-found ability.It was extraordinary.I watched him thrusting his palm forward,and saw a flaming symbol-tattoo[a Sigil as he later explained],flying towards the dog and throwing it against a wall,seemingly killing it.

“What on Heavens was that?”,I asked.

“Guess again.It was a Hellhound.And it's not the only one,from what I sense and what I ...see!Go,go go!!!I'll hold I them back!RUN!”

And,for the first time in my life, I run away because of my fear.

I will never forget what I saw that day.It was horrible.I run,I run and I run.And when I finally came home...

“NO!”,I screamed.

there was my mother lying dead on the floor,a pool of blood having formed around her.My jaw dropped, and I felt... I don't know how to describe that feeling.It was more of a mix of despair, sorrow and a need for revenge.I was extremely sad,as one was expect.My knees bent and I cried.I cried as much as I could.

But greater than my sorrow...was my anger.So I stood up and acted like a man.Or, more like an idiot,as I only later realised.

“It's OK.I killed them al—Oh my...”,said Shade,when he walked through the opened door.

I didn't know who's fault my mother's demise was,so I blamed the only person that got in my way.Jack.

“Sonofabitch!”,I cried and I shoved hime towards the wall.That, of course,proved to be very,very stupid,as my dear friend Shade ahd his powers to defend himself.So he,now,shoved me,telekinetically,towards the sofa-so that he wouldn't hurt me.

“IT-IS-NOT-ME!!!I didn't do this,I could never have!The same people that killed YOUR parents,killed my best friend too!So,you'd better shut up and listen to what I have to say!!!”

I couldn't do anything else but listen to him,since he had-telekinetically of course- tied up.

“Thank you!Now,whoever did this,was sent,or was member of,the Big Seven!You hear that?The Seven Princes of the Hierarchy of Hell.So,if you're thinking of going up against even one of them-which you are-,think again!Do I make myself clear?”

I nodded.

“Good!”

I stared at Shade.

“Now,if you don’t mind,would you let me go?”,I asked him.

 

“Whatever you say.But, you have to know you can’t stay here.You’re a fugitive now.They saw you

doing what you did at school,most probably, they will thik you did ths to your mother.From their point

of view,you went through a shock ,breaking the windows in yor classroom,and when you came

home,you got mad and killed your mother.That’s how most of you humans think.It is almost

disgusting.So,I suggest you go get your stuff.We’re gonna run away.”

 

I was, in fact, devastated,but I wouldn’t let that show,at last not in front of a stranger.So,I

rubbed the tears way frm m face,I went up the stairs and got a rucksack.I put inside everything

I considered useful.I got a few clothes and underwear,then a pocket knife,my CO2 airsoft

gun,some salt(I had been watching the TV Show “Supernatural” for a long time…),my new

laptop,my iPhone 4,my GPS device,a pen, a paper and a marker[which later proved really

useful].

 

As it turned out,Jack,or whatever his real name was , was watching me al along,while I was

packing my stuff—I was too busy to realise.

 

“You’re not gonna need this”,he told me pointing to the pocket knife.

 

“Take this.It will be much more useful”,he told me,giving me a much larger double-edged knife,a

dagger,one could say.It was much more beautiful, too.

 

“What’s that?”,I asked

 

“A Celestial Blade.It can kill almost every being.Angels,Fallens,Demons,Demi-Souls,Keres’.Of

course,it cant kill on of the Big Seven,but it does kill Archangels.You’ll be more than safe with it next

to you.Most creatures,even Hellhounds tremble at the sight of it.Here,take it’s sheath and belt.”,he

said and gave it to me.I wore it and it fit perfectly.

 

“Thanks.”,I told him. “It means a lot to me.”

 

“My pleasure to help you.”

 

The chick-flick moment was interrupted by the sirens of the Police.Someone had called them.

 

“Shall we go now?Are you ready?”,he asked me.

 

“Yeah I think so.”,I replied.Now, you’re probably asking why I trusted a stranger and took my

mother’s death so easy.I guess I didn’t, not completely,but I ..I felt like I knew him.I don’t know

why,but deep down,it felt like that.I know know why I felt that.As for the latter, I didn’t have a choice.I

didn’t have time to mourne.What happened happened,and no-one can undo it.So,I said yes.He

touched me.And we flash-jumped.
