Hey guys,it's Raven again.As you see, I couldn't resist,so I put up another chapter.The other one was pretty small!Enjoy!

CHAPTER 6:SLAYED

 

Amanda Blake was desperate.She needed to find a solution before noon,or else she would never see her son again.She searched through her books,called her most knowledgable friends and mentors...But there was nothing she could do.Not a spell.Once she had made the Deal,she could not undo it.The only thing she could do was wait for her demise.Her death was inavoidable.And she would die with the worst possible way.

As she was flipping the pages of the “Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage”, she finally found something.Not exactly what she had hoped for,not something to undo what she had done.But,there was a way for her defend herself.She never studied or practiced the psionic arts,so she didn't have the skills to fight in a face-to-face battle.But this...It was something she had done long ago,something-the only thing-that could possibly help her.

She got undressed,grabbed a “Sharpie” Marker and started painting the Magic Squares all over her body.The Squares Abramelin provided in his Grimoire would only work when special precautions were taken care of.In her quest of power,long ago,she had fulfilled the process, but she had never actually used the Squares,not believing in their extraordinary power.

She took a piece of paper and painted the invisibility Square,she put it on her head and wore a cap over it,as the instructions demanded.She went to a mirror and looked at herself.She couldn't believed it!It had actually rendered her invisible!

She quickly got dressed and deliberately left the most offensive Magic Squares uncovered,so that she could use them in combat.And she wondered,how would she explain all this to Nick?But,never mind,if and when all this was over,she decided to explain all this,to reveal this whole world hiding behind his eyes to him.He definately deserved to know.

The thoughts of her were interrupted by a voice.A cold, emotionless voice echoed in the walls of the house,and almost terrified Amanda to death.

“Hmm...The last time I saw you,you were much more beautiful.No offence,of course”,he said.

The next thing she knew,she was teleported in the living room face-to-face with him.

“Did you really think these tricks would protect you from me?Seriously Amanda?You have lost your talent...”

She turned around.

“What do you want, Asmodeus?”,she asked.

“I am sure you know what I want...Or have you forgotten?”

Amanda thrusted her palm forward, letting the Magic Square reveal itself,telekinetically throwing the Archdemon across the room.

When he got up,he was really pissed off.

“I see you indeed have learned some things.But,well,there is no way you can challenge me”,said Asmodeus.

“You sound like an arrogant little brat!”,Amanda mocked him.

Asmodeus responded to her verbal attack with a physical attack.He formed a fist with his left hand and Amanda kneeled from the immense pain.She could barely breathe.Her face reflected her fear.It was pointless to resist.However,if she was to go down,she would go down fighting.

She gathered all her strength,and, with extreme difficulty, faced the now surprised Asmodeus.She coughed blood.With one last try,she protested her palm, touching the Archdemon's face,banishing him.

She breathed a sigh of relief.The pain stopped,only to be followed by a very sharp pain,nothing like she had ever felt before.She kept vomitted blood and looked behinf her.Asmodeus.He had tricked her.

“Goodbye,bitch!”,he said and took the Celestial Blade out of her back.

And Amanda Blake faded into darkness.
